Amanda's alarm rudely jolted her awake at 6:00 in the morning. The night before, she had considered waking up even earlier but decided against it, as she had snoozed her 4:30 alarm.
Excitement filled her as she looked forward to her first day of school. She hadn't set foot in a physical school since her father's controversial arrest, having to complete the rest of the year online. So, Amanda was determined to make the most of this fresh start.

As she got ready, she couldn't help but imagine how the day would unfold. Would she make new friends? Would people appreciate her vibrant personality? It was all uncertain. All she could do was aim to look her best and be friendly.
Her outfit gave her the hardest time ever. Surprisingly a lot of her clothes were out of dress code. Initially, she considered wearing whatever she pleased, but after some thought, she decided against it. She wanted the day to go smoothly, and she wasn't sure about the consequences of breaking dress code.
