Casper

~Chapter 7~

     Stirring and some muffled moans could be heard in the otherwise quiet room as the current occupants were looking on with worry and fear for the young wolf buried deep in his cocoon of warm blankets and soft fluffy pillows only a flash of soft white hair poking out.  The young wolf coming back to the land of the living, rose his body half out of bed mumbling and rubbing his eyes, clearly still half in the sleeping world.  It was a gasp from his momma that fully woke him up and alerted him the group of people standing around his bed.  Feeling like he was all of sudden thrust onto a pedestal for the world to point at and mock, the boy sunk down trying to crawl back under his blankets his shy nature wanting to take over.
"Oh no you don't mister" his momma laughs as she grabbed the blankets away from her pup forcing Casper to fully be awake.
"Momma why are you all here?" Casper asks pointing to his momma then to everyone else in the room.  He wasn't surprised his daddy was there, several times he's woken up to either one or the pair of them watching him wake up.  Not creepy at all.  However seeing his best friend Alley Cat and his new best friend Bobby in his room all together was odd to say the least.  While scanning the faces of everyone he noticed a new face.  A jolly, yet flustered rather elfish looking face.

"Oh my goddess your an elf...momma momma she's and elf" the boy was excitedly pointing to the creature.  He's only heard stories of elves, how they were special creatures that held lots of power when it came to healing others.  They were heavily sought after for their skills.  Now another thought came to his head as Casper got a bit teary eyed, his once dull pale sky blues eyes were now a way more vibrant and full sky blue.  The sight made everyone coo as he was just so unbelievably cute when he pouted but now that his eyes held so much color his teary pouts just took your breath away.
"Little bunny whats wrong huh?" Bobby's concerned voice was heard as he walked over to his new friend and wiped his tears away.
"If there's an elf here then...then..."  his crying and sniffles making it to hard to speak. "breathe little bunny breathe"
Casper looks up to his new friend, "Am I dying?" the large boy just smiles and laughs "What on earth made you think there's something wrong with you little bunny, your perfect."  Casper couldn't help but blush at being called perfect by such a handsome man.  Alley Cat sure was lucky he thought to himself as his daddy started to speak.
"Pup there isn't anything wrong with you, in fact your way more then okay.  There is a lot we need to talk about with you though." The alpha comes over and sits next to Casper.  Bobby still holding onto the boy lets him go as Caspers father continues.
"Yes pup we as a family, and that includes you Alley and now also you too Bobby, 'Its clear Casper sees you as a brother and we welcome you to our family wholeheartedly."  Bobby was a bit taken a back hearing such kind words.  Alley walks over and kisses the top of her mates head. "Gives you the butterflies too huh?" she laughs as he just nods his head in wonder and happiness. "Our alpha here has a way with words" the luna tells the room as she too walks over to the bed kissing the top of her mates head.  The small group together and content in their happiness totally oblivious to the tiny elfish woman standing by herself away from the group.
"cough...cough..*clears throat* I said COUGH COUGH"  the little elf speaks getting the attention of the room again.  "Oh my goddess Dr. Lee we are so sorry must have gotten ourselves lost in the moment." The alpha replies now trying to be serious again.
"Yes right its totally fine, it seems our young prince here is just fine except for the white hair of course, granted that was expected."
"WHAT" the boy screamed jumping up from the bed and running to his mirror only making it about a foot before he tripped over his sheets and landed face first on the floor.
The room broke out in hysterics as Casper quickly jumped back up and ran over to his mirror.
"Honey Bunny?"
"Pup?"..."Um Casper,pup, you okay there?"
"Little Bunny?"
Casper still hadn't replied he didn't know what to say.  First thought was "white hair!! have I gotten old now?" which quickly turned into "Hmm I kinda like it" and thoughts of how his mates would like it.  Then realizing he thought mates and not mate got him really perplexed.  It was his mommas voice that brought him out of his thoughts.
"Casper honey you okay in that head of yours?" Casper whipped his head around to face his momma with a huge smile "I love it momma, its...hmm I don't know I just really like it." 
"Well I like it too" his momma agreed ruffling his hair between her fingers.  She was good at giving the 'mom' touch.
"Not to rain on this happy hair parade or anything, but has anyone else noticed or little Casper here has not stuttered once?"
Shock and realization started to hit everyone together and Casper couldn't help but laugh.  Maybe getting his wolf was a good thing after all.
"Alpha I am very happy for your family and all but I'm a very busy elf and our prince needs to know his story or we both know he will be killed soon enough."  That changed the mood in the air very quickly.  All the people in the room tense up.  The doctor didn't mean to be so blunt or seem rude but this information is very important and the young prince is clearly to meek to protect himself, the doctor was getting worried no one was taking this information of the princes return seriously.
Casper could hear the urgency in her voice, now that he was a wolf it came like second nature and the word 'Prince' didn't not escape him.
"Did you say prince?" Alley questions in shock looking from her best friend she's known since preschool and to the small elfish doctor.
"Yes and we really must get this conversation started Alpha I don't have much time left in this realm, I have already been here to long as it is." Dr. Lee was now getting frantic looking to her watch every few seconds knowing time will be up soon.
"I apologize we are waiting on one more member of this family, is there any way you can stay until then.  I know the pressure this puts you under, and i promise you we are taking this seriously, but we really should wait for Marcus too."  Hearing his name Casper's heart started to beat really fast his wolf yipping happily that their brother was returning home. "Is big brother really coming home daddy?" Casper asks hoping that it wasn't some sick joke.
"Actually he should be here any minute" his momma spoke and as if the devil himself was calling his name the door bell rang.
