In the past, a normal school boy named Shu Ouma, met an injured girl, named Inori Yuzuriha. And with that ,started his adventure. He accidentally received the Void Genome which gave him the power of the King.
Gai, a person Shu looks up to, planned to be the Adam of Eve,which is Mana. Gai used Inori as a vessel for Mana's soul and planned to start the Fourth Apocalypse Virus which will crystallize humans and change the world.
After awhile Shu regained his memory and finds out that Mana is her sister. He plans to save Inori from merging with Mana but it was too late.
Shu defeated Gai and Mana,he saved the world, but he couldn't save Inori, because he came too late.
Shu lost many things that day, he lost his sight and his right hand, more than that, he lost the people who were dear to him.
