Chapter 13

I was stunned by the beauty of nature itself. We landed at a whitesand Palaui island where the Cape Engaño Lighthouse is located.

We were welcomed by different lined up stores while on the right side were nipa hut cottages under different kinds of trees. Most of the stores are selling souvenirs and some are food. We ended up in a store where they are selling halo-halo (Filipino cold dessert). Since most of us wanted to try halo halo. There are tour guides hired by Rage who will accompany us to the lighthouse.

We started our adventure by following some guidelines and precautions reminded by the 2 tour guides. They told us that we are going to hike up to reach Cape Engaño. The highlight of the Palaui tour is undoubtedly Cape Engaño. The picture-perfect scenery of hills, grasslands and seas can be seen while going up the steps to the lighthouse.

Sa kalagitnaan ng pag-akyat namin, tumigil muna kami para magpahinga saglit dahil kalahati palang kami pero nakakapagod na agad ang haba ng inakyat namin.

The view is similar to the one we see in the anime movie 'Your Name' where the water was surrounded by the hill. I was with Klime and I haven't seen the others. Dahil nagkawatak watak kami at baka sa lighthouse na kami magkita kita. Ang mga kasama ko lang ay si Klime, Romeo, Mia, Jay, Sybil, Augustus, Ian, Christina and Julia. The other groups consist of Ayi, Christ, Draven, Ace, Rage, Agatha, Astrid, Taty and Steve.

Since bitbit ni Ian ang Camera, nagtake muna kami nang ilang shots bago namin ipagpatuloy ang pag akyat.

Mayghad ka haggard.

"What the heck! Why did I even suggest this place?!" Nakakailang reklamo na ni Sybil na siyang katabi ni Klime at kanina pa nagrereklamo. Wala na ata kaming ibang narinig kundi reklamo sa kanya.

"Edi pacarry ka kay Augustus, tutal macho macho naman siya oh." inirapan naman ni Sybil ang suggestion ni Klime sa kanya.

Nauunang maglakad sila Christina at Julia habang sinusundan ang tour guide habang nasa kilod nila si Mia at Jay at kami nila Sybil at Klime ang nasa likod nila habang nasa likod namin sina Romeo, Ian and Augustus.

"Ayoko nga baka ihulog pa ko nan, demonyo pa naman 'yan." nagtawanan naman kami ni Klime dahil sa sinabi ni Sybil.

"Sana ol devil, devil sa kama ay kasama pala, devil kasama." natatawang asar ni Klime kay Sybil.

"Ako gusto mo makitang maging devil hah?" tanong ni Sybil kay Klime na parang gusto na lang tapalan ni Sybil si Klime ng dahon sa bibig nito dahil sa mga sinasabi nito.

"How was Augustus in bed?" Malisyoso na tanong ni Klime kay Sybil. Si Klime yung nasa gitna naman kaya madali siyang nahampas ni Sybil dahil sa tanong nito. Kahampas hampas naman talaga si Klime kaya ayos lang.
