Arc 4 Chapter 17: Undying Love

Start from the beginning

Jun remained with his back facing her, but now his eyes slowly grew bitter as he clenched his fists.

Ha, for the whole day he had felt conflicted over his feelings, why did he care so much?

He had already decided that such things didn't matter, he could never love someone who hated him, if he did then that would make him truly insane.

No, she would never come to love him so he knew it was better to hate, to push his emotions down.

Although his Sensei acted a little strange today in Fay city, there was no way she actually cared about him or ever could, she was only using him.

With this realization he clenched his fist again pushing aside the strange feelings he had previously felt deep into the pits of his heart.

Just how she didn't actually care for him, he didn't actually love the woman, his emotions though strong were not complete, they weren't real.

He didn't love the woman.

He didn't love the beautiful, calming...  lustrious- He didn't love her!

"I'll see you back at sunset." S said one last thing before completely turning and darting away.

With this the conflicted young man was now left all alone at the quiet waterfall, the surroundings no longer seemed bright and dazzling as they instead appeared dull and lifeless.

Jun's heartbeat calmed to an eerily slow rhythm as he no longer felt the same feeling of life flow through his body.

Like this he began to prepare himself to go into the cooling blue waters to clear his mind.

After S bathed she went back to her wooden hut in order to start brewing some of the nightly tea.

An hour passed and Jun came back at sunset with clean golden tan skin while he dawned one of the new robes.

As he walked into the hut he was quiet as he kept his eyes hidden beneath his still wet dripping hair.

The crackling of the fire was the only thing to be heard as it filled the dark hut with a dim light and faint noise.

Jun's eyes looked downward and hidden while his voice was deep and strange. "Sensei, this ill mannered disciple has wronged you. It was not my intentions to spy on Sensei, please allow this pathetic disciple to make it up to you."

Hearing Jun's words S slightly coughed. Why was he suddenly bringing such things up...?

Still she looked up and tried to examine Jun's face, due to his eyes being hidden and the dark room she was unable to discern them.

Sensing nothing she didn't feel worried at all, however she knew he was simply putting on airs, deciding to play into her disciples hands she looked down at him with a sadistic smirk.

"Heh, there is nothing to make up. For even if there was, how would this pathetic disciple plan to make it up to me? There is nothing you can compensate that I would want."

Jun's voice remained deep and composed. "I cannot physically offer anything to Sensei except for my sincere apologies and loyalty."

Without hesitation he kneeled down in front of his sensei.

For a moment the Villain was caught off guard as his position reminded her of their last life together.

"This pathetic disciple profusely apologizes and will affirm the loyalty Sensei asked for years ago." Not wasting a second Jun extended his hands and lightly grabbed his Sensei's sandaled foot, lifting it towards his head he took a moment before he bent downwards and placed a gentle kiss on the tip of it.
