I mixed the batter in the kitchen, the apple cinnamon scent filling the room. I had put on my favorite sweater and jeans to feel more 'fall-y'. I had put the pie crust in the pan as I was checking on the filling.
"My love, what are you up to?" I turned around and smiled. The light of my life, Five, was dressed in a sweatshirt and sweats. I always liked it when he dressed 'domestically'.
"I'm making apple pie. Do you wanna join me?" He nodded as 'Somebody's Watching Me' blared through my speakers. I smiled and turned back to my filling.
"How are you feeling love?" Five wrapped his arms around my waist. I giggled softly.
"I'm doing wonderful darling." He swayed me a bit before humming along to song.
I smiled, knowing I was truly happy.
