Zane: You owe me this

"I forgot to say, you look stunning" He said, changing the subject of the conversation

"Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself" I smiled

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You'd look better if you took this off" I said and removed his mask. He blushed. "There, now I can say the same about you"

"What that I look stunning?"

"N-no, uh...y-you know what I mean"

"Oi, lovebirds" Vylad teased, cutting in on the conversation. Zane and I looked away from each other with deep blushes. "We have arrived"

We all stepped out of the car and I gulped when I saw the restaurant. It was an extremely expensive one close by. My eyes were wide and I heard a soft chuckle come from each of the boys

"A-are you alright there Y/N?" Garroth asked. I gulped again and stared at the three boys

"I think she is just a little overwhelmed" Zane chuckled and walked around the back of the car. He tapped my shoulder and then stole his mask back since it was still in my hand. I looked at him and shyly smiled. Vylad and Garroth exchanged smirks before they walked towards the restaurant. I nervously sighed before taking the hand Zane was offering me and walking into the restaurant with him

You could immediately tell who we were here to meet because once we had walked in, a loud but excited squeal was heard. I watched Vylad and Garroth greet their mother and smiled at the close relationship that they have with her

"Zuzu!" Zianna exclaimed and hugged Zane who awkwardly stood there, still holding my hand. Zianna let him go and turned to me. I looked at Zane before smiling at his mother. "You must be Y/N! It's lovely to meet you"

"It's lovely to meet you too"

"And it's wonderful to know that my Zuzu has found a girlfriend!"

I smiled at a blushing Zane before we all sat down. I nervously sat by Zane and fiddled with my fingers. He took my hand in his and squeezed it gently to calm me down

"You're alright" He whispered in my ear. I looked at him and softly smiled, looking back at Zianna, Garroth and Vylad when we heard another loud squeal. Zianna was practically dying inside and was extremely red in the face

"Eeee!" She squealed. "So Zuzu, Y/N. How did you meet?"

"Mom, that's not that important" Zane chuckled, wanting to save me a little

"No Zane it's fine. Uhm we knew each other a little in high school but met properly through mutual friends" I explained, it wasn't a complete lie. Zane and I had known of each other in high school but didn't properly meet until Aphmau introduced us. I had always taken an interest in Zane during high school however I was never noticed since I was a quiet girl who didn't talk much in classes and he was to busy trying to get into and deal with the shadow knights

"Y/N is the one Zane would talk about constantly. Remember mommy?" Garroth asked, clearly teasing his little brother. "She's the one he often told us was the pretty, quiet girl who he wishes he had the courage to talk to"

"Oh I remember that" Vylad played along. "He was infatuated by you and still seems it"

I blushed bright red and let go of Zanes hand in embarrassment

"Ignore them two Y/N. They are just being butts" Zane scoffed and glared at his brothers. We soon ordered food and happily began eating, Zianna and I get along pretty well while Vylad and Garroth teased Zane about this supposed crush. I actually began to relax and enjoy myself and it was clear with how I acted. Zane noticed and constantly looked at me and from umder his mask, I could tell that he was smiling which made my heart flutter

"How was that Y/N?" Zane asked as we waved goodbye to his mother. He took my hand in his again, this time intertwining our fingers

"She's really sweet" I smiled, turning to him

"Thank you for agreeing to do this" He smiled

"I didn't really have a choice, I did owe you it"

"We should do it more often"

"What? Meet up with your mom?"

"No, just us two. We should go out to restaurants as just the two of us more often"

"What, like dates?" I bit my lip

"Are you asking me out?" Zane smirked

"Oh, I thought you were asking me out "

"Uh..well then, Y/N will you go on a date with me this weekend?"

"Of course I will" I agreed. I flinched in shock when Vylad and Garroth suddenly began to clap.

I rolled my eyes at the boys before stepping into the car. The three eventually joined and soon Garroth drove us home. He pulled into his, Laurances and Zanes driveway and while he and Vylad went inside, Zane linked arms with me and walked me to my house. I unlocked the door and stood in the doorway while sharing a small conversation with Zane

"I-I should get going" He stutterd

"Wait, what time is this date this weekend?" I asked

"How about I pick you up at eleven and we see where the day takes us?"

"Sounds perfect" I smiled and placed a small kiss onto his cheek before saying one last goodbye and then closing my door. I took off my heels and happily flopped onto my couch. I let out a giddy sigh before I turned on my TV and continued watching fairytail
