Arc 4 Chapter 3: Undying Love

Start from the beginning

"Ah...!" Noticing the hand secured on his neck, he felt like this was truly the end, with this he stopped struggling and closed his eyes hoping for a simple death.

However, the hand on his neck only lightly squeezed...

"What?" In an instant his alarmed eyes shot open to once again look up at the cruel beauty.

"Haha, I already said I won't kill you, after all I just saved you."

Hearing this the youth didn't feel relief, instead his eyes filled with a deeper fear as he wondered just who the woman was and what she intended to do with him, after all he wasn't foolish enough to believe she simply wanted to save him. No one in this life would ever do such a thing for him...

Seeing the young man's suspicious eyes S was satisfied as she decided to explain herself. "If I wanted to I could simply snap your neck with little effort. However I won't do such a thing, that would simply be too wasteful. I already told you twice that I saved you..." With this she tightened her squeeze just a bit.

"However don't think for a second I did it out of compassion. I am simply a cultivator of the dark arts looking for Qi, and it seems your body has a high affinity for it..."

Yes, after all her role as Villain in this world was one who sought after others Qi.

The young man's eyes widened at the woman's short explanation. He had never heard such nonsense before, ever since he was young he had been continually told that his affinity for Qi was trash and that he had no ability for cultivation.

(In reality he was right. The Villain was just making stuff up as she went along...)

S continued with an evil smirk. "I slaughtered everyone in the Qiangda sect and absorbed all there Qi, so right now I have had my fill and am satisfied. But just as I was about to leave I felt the presence of someone nearby who possessed great Qi stored within..."

As soon as the young man heard the entire Qiangda sect had been killed his eyes widened, it was his sect after all. However even though it was his sect his face did not fill with sadness or shock, simply with terror as he wondered just who the woman was before him.

Sensing the young man's thoughts S continued. "Yes I am the great dark arts cultivator, S. Once I sensed your presence nearby I realized that your body had a high affinity for Qi so I thought to myself "although I am full why should I let such Qi go to waste? Why not bring out it's full potential?" Yes, it was then that I made a decision, I decided to save you and make you my student, to raise you to become stronger. When I once again grow hungry for Qi and deemed you strong enough, I will then..." S paused to laugh.

"Hahaha, I will then absorb all your Qi into my body thus simultaneously killing you."

The teen instantly grew stiff, so he had only been saved in order to become a sacrifice at a later date?!

He finally understood the phrase tossed out of the frying pan and into the fire. Ha pitiful, his life was truly pathetic....

Still he refused to go along with the strange beauty, he no longer had the strength to live so he simply wished for death.

Instantly he used all his remaining strength to struggle out of the women's grasp.

Like this he grabbed the longsword fastened to S's waist, in an instant he cut the ropes tied to his hands and darted out of the little hut.

He expected the woman to be closely behind or at least try to grab him but as he looked back she simply stood still, with an evil grin still plastered on her face.
