Minju's POV

"Okay, so for the nominees of the school's beauty contest is.... Kim Minju and Kang Hyewon"

That name, I'm super annoyed. I should have been the only one who have been there then I would been the winner automatically.

"Hey, you should cheer up a bit" Yuri told me and handed me a cup of juice

"How can I?! I'm super pissed" U said and crossed my arms

"You're not the only person here Ju" she told me and I just rolled my eyes at her

As we were seating at the bench in the garden just near the cafeteria, I saw that person who annoys me so much. She's coming closer towards us along with her two friends Lee Chaeyeon and Choi Yena. Why the hell is she coming near?

"Congrats Minju, I guess we're going to meet more often" she said to me and put out her hand. Probably waiting for me to shake it.

"Hey, you should accept her hand" Yuri whispered to me as she nudges

I just rolled my eyes on her and looked at the other side.

"Oh, well, goodluck" I heard said and scratched the back of her neck

"Sorry unnie, Minju is just being cranky" Yuri said

"It's okay Yuri, still wanna hang out later?" I heard the duck asked

"Sure" Yuri said and smiled widely and the three others walked away

Can't believe that Yuri would go on a date with the friend of my enemy. As we were still sitting, out other friend came running towards us.

"Have you seen Lee?" she asked while panting

"Yeah unnie, she just said hi to us a while ago" Yuri said and Kkura unnie's eyes widened

"What?! Lee Chaeyeon!" she shouted and chased towards the other girl

"Hey, you should at least be kind to Hyewon unnie, she's not that bad" Yuri told me

"I don't care, I hated her ever since" I scoffed

"They say, the more you hate, the more you love" she teased but I just found it annoying. I stood up and walked back to the library since we don't have any regular classes today.

"Minju! Wait up!" I heard her shouted but I just ignored her.

Do I really like her??

Hyewon's POV

"Should I just ask for defeat? she really wants that title" I asked Chaeyeon who was busy buying food

"Just do whatever you want, you said you had a crush on her" Chaeyeon told me and gulped down almost have of the water in the bottle

"Yeah Hyewon, you should ask her out" Yena added as she chews on her bubble gum

"Chaeyeon!" I heard someone shouted and I turned around only to see one of Chaeyeon's very close friends but probably they're already dating

"Hi Kkura, we were just talking about Minju" Chaeyeon told her and she nodded

"Do you think I have a cha-" I was taken aback when Sakura suddenly talked

"She hates you I think" she said which made me sad

"Oh, bummer" Yena said and I just glared at her

"Oh, that's okay" I said and Sakura just smiled at me then she went to Chaeyeon to ask her to buy something.

"You're going out with Yuri right?" I asked Yena and she nodded while blushing

"Gosh you're so whipped for her" I said and rolled my eyes

"How about tell them to ask defeat, maybe Minju would be happy about that"Yena suggested

I thought of it and probably I should and maybe I might get a chance with her. I ran to the student council office to talk to Pres.

"Pres!" I shouted and barged into the room

"gosh Hyewon, you could at least knock on the door" she said and rolled her eyes

"Sorry Lia but can I like ask for defeat for the Beauty Contest thingy?" I asked

"I'm not sure Hyewon, you have like thousands of votes, are you sure you want defeat?" she asked and I nodded

"For Minju" I said softly and smiled

"Okay, I'll talk to the council officers then we'll put Kim Minju as the winner. You actually had potential Hyewon" she said and chuckled

"Thanks but I guess I won't use the reward well" I said and chuckled as well

"Thanks Pres, see you next time" I said and bowed I went out of her office and walked around the school since there were no classes

I saw at the second floor Minju, she was smiling widely as she talks to Yuri. I just smiled and admired her from afar.

I was walking towards the cafeteria to buy some food but then I was approached by one of Minju's friends.

"Oh Yuri" I said and waved at her

"Hi unnie, Minju wants to talk to you" she said which made me froze

"She said you should go at the rooftop" she added and I just nodded. I was standing there frozen as she looks at me cluelessly.

"Kang Hyewon" someone said and smacked me at the head

"Yah!" I shouted and saw that it was Chaeyeon

"She said to go at the rooftop, go now" she said and I nodded again. I ran quickly to the rooftop, as I opened the door, I saw her. She was standing there effortlessly looking beautiful. I approached her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around looking happy.

"Thanks a lot" she said and smiled

"You're welcome" i said nervously

"Thanks for that, finally I can get my reward" she said happily as she claps her hands cutely

"I was wondering, can I ask you-" I was stopped by her

"Thank you really, I can now finally go to the US for the modeling agency" she said

"Wait-what?" I was confused

"Oh, I forgot, I need to win this beauty contest here in school before I can go to that agency, and because you asked for defeat, I am automatically the winner. Thank you for that, I can now go to New York next week" she said excitedly and I just smiled

She then suddenly hugged me then ran off back to the classroom. I was left alone there, looking at the sky.

"I guess I won't have a chance with her" I said softly and sat down on the floor.

Third Person's POV

Five Years Later....

"Hyewon, can we get this?" Yena asked as she scans through the menu

"Sure, you can choose whatever you want" Hyewon said and chuckled

They were at Hyewon's café right now. She was having some time with some of her friends except for one.

"You two are friends already right?" Chaeyeon asked her friend

"Uh yeah, four years ago after she went to New York"Hyewon answered and her other friends just nodded.

"You still won't find someone for you? It already has been years already Hyewon and she already has a girlfriend" Yejj said as she was seated beside her girlfriend Chaeryeong

"Yeah, you should find someone for you" Chaeryeong added

"No thanks, I'm okay with being with myself" Hyewon said and sighed

"Don't worry guys, Hyewon is cool with it. Minju is her first love" Sakura said and chuckled

The orders came and they all ate together. Even though Minju didn't love Hyewon back, Hyewon still loves her no matter what. Only if Minju knew what Hyewon feels for her
