"One seems okay, though. But their ace is down!"

"Miyuki?!"

~~~
Pain surges through her head as voices were distorted, her vision was blurring when she opened her eyes. Seeing the court, feet, and shadows.
Then she flinches and tried to get up quick but felt the ache intensified as she stood up. She didn't know who was holding her still until Itachiyama's athletic trainers came to look at her.
The girls had a mini timeout as they worried for their ace. The set was almost done. They're close to being in the championship. They battled in every rally and point. The previous point would end the point differentiation | 15-15. And then, the ball decides to topple over the net near Seika's left hand as she notice in mid-air. She lands and tried to reach for it, unaware that her knee collided with a sweaty forehead. She didn't get it but Miyuki did as the ball went up for anyone to dive and put it over.
Everything went blank.
"I-I'm fine." Miyuki claims as Coach was kneeling next to her, hand resting on her back. "I can get up." She started to move but was shaking with her balance as the athletic trainers helped her to stand.
To Miyuki's realization, the team was looking at her with worries. Seika had pity and guilt but she waved it off. She walked slowly to the bench as Kairi spoke to the referee after getting result from the athletic trainers that Miyuki's having a concussion. Kairi bows to the other captain to apologise for the delay.
"C-coach?" Miyuki mutters as she was already there. "Please, I just need to---"
"Miyuki, your symptoms right now is suffering from a concussion." Coach Ichika explains as half lit ice blue eyes stared lifeless at her Coach as she wiped her face with a towel, feeling sleepy now.
The athletic trainers were getting ready to put her in the medical room outside the gymnasium. Coach called for Hina to sub in for her so the game could go on. She then made Aratani and Hekima help Miyuki to the med.
"I'm sorry." Miyuki mutters, blinking back the tears but her voice gave her away. The girls surrounds her on the bench.
"Accidents happen." Mai simply said, after reading her friend getting hurt yesterday through hus text messages.
"Let's end this!" Kairi bursts as the girls joined in to get on the court and finish the set.
"For Miyuki on 3! 1! 2! 3!"
"4 Miyuki!"
Aratani heard the faint hums and sobs from her best friend. Side glancing at tears mixed with new sweat forming on her cheek, running down. Then she heard some groans as they walked down the stairs, the trainers waiting patiently for them at the base. Miyuki didn't care who was watching her. She felt sleepy as Hekima started to struggle because she was shifting her weight from left to right.
"Miyuki, we're almost there stay awake." Aratani encouraged as Miyuki straightened up, her head tilting to straight but her eyes were sensitive to the lights in the main floor.
As they got Miyuki on one of the beds, they made her lay flat on her back as Aratani checked in with the trainers.
"She won't be playing until her concussion is gone. She'll stay here until the girls are done with the game."
