LISA POV

Finally, I'm done with work, and I now get to go home and rest. I couldn't wait to belly flop on my couch and watch something on TV.

"Home sweet home," I said as I entered my house and set my keys on the counter.

After I put my bag on my coat rack, I immediately fell onto the couch. My body sinks into the cushions feeling the comfort.

"Ahhh, much better," I sighed in relief.

For a good 5 minutes, I just sat there, staring at my ceiling before sitting up and grabbing the TV remote.

"Alright, let's see what movie I can watch," I said to myself.

I turned on the TV and went to HBO to find a movie I could watch before calling it a day. Scrolling through their list, I head my phone notification ring. I checked who it was, and it was

"Timothy," I sounded surprised.

I pressed the notification tab up top to see what he sent me.

UNREAD MESSAGE: Hey Lisa, It's Timothy

I went to open up my phone to text him back.

(TEXT MESSAGES)

Timothy: Hey Lisa, It's Timothy

Lisa: Hi

Timothy: Oh hey

Lisa: I didn't expect you to text me at this time

There was a long pause before he sent me another message.

Timothy: Oh, sorry if this was an inconvenient time, I'll just go

Lisa: No, it's fine, we can talk. So what's up

Timothy: I was wondering if you wanted to hang out this Wednesday

Lisa: Uhhhh, sure, I'm free Wednesday

Timothy: Oh sweet, so am I

Lisa: So Wednesday

Timothy: Yep, Wednesday, at 3 P.M

Lisa: Where do you want to meet

Timothy: We can meet at your work

Lisa: Alright, sounds good

Timothy: Bye

Lisa: Bye

(END OF TEXT)

As I set my phone down, I blushed a bit and felt embarrassed at the same time.

"Oh god, that was the most awkward text I've been in!!!," I shouted at myself.
