lemony centers and peppermint leaves / soft roses stained bubblegum pink / velvet petals of lilac and jade / simplicity painted with pastel ink.
copper sun, a faraway fire / puffy clouds of pearl and frost / golden radiance descending to earth / lighting the way for the ones who are lost.
lavender sunsets and cerulean skies / sea-foam waves hugging sepia shores / technicolor reefs blooming beneath / strange and whimsical, for us to explore.
silky locks in raven's wing black / the smooth cider of my well-worn skin / lips tinted rouge to offer a smile / mocha-colored eyes to soak it all in.
kaleidoscopic stars, holding our wishes / scattered and sparkling, but always tethered / silver moon with shadow-filled craters / a midnight canvas to hold it all together.
end this endless war on color / painful and pointless discrimination / because beauty is shown in every shade / an infinite palette for so much creation.
