Half an hour had passed but Molly still wasn't awake. With a sigh, Alex picked her up, and carried her gently back to her house. She figured it was best not to bring her back to the cafe under the circumstances. Laying her down in what now was the guest bedroom, she pulled the blanket up to Molly's chest, left a glass of water on the bedside table and left the room.
Downstairs she opened her fridge and looked for something to eat. Half a jar of tomato sauce, a red pepper and a clove of garlic. Pasta again then. She threw the pasta in the microwave as she chopped up the pepper and crushed the garlic. Then she heated the everything in the pan as she waited for the pasta to cook. When she was done she mixed the pasta through the sauce, put half of it on a plate and the other half on a plate with a little post-it note.
For you Mol. Heat in microwave for 2 minutes.
Then she collapsed onto the sofa with her food and started watching trashy TV shows.
