"Dude!" Kagetsu barked, covering the prince's mouth. "Ever heard of mint!"

Everything silenced. Even a deaf person could hear a pin dropping on the ground.

Kagetsu jumped out from his coffin, perfectly alive and waving his hand in front of his mouth. "Avoid cemetery. We don't need zombie apocalypse here."

Then the silence shattered with an earthquake of laughter. The audience grasped their stomach. Nobody expected this twist.

Rigaku's eyes widened, not noticing his younger brother laughed with the rest.

Kagetsu turned toward the shocked prince, gesturing him to hold his hand. Nobody saw Kagetsu's apologetic smile. The actor accepted the hand, and together they sauntered across the stage.

"And so, Snow White opened her eyes!" Sakura shouted, and the crowd calmed down a bit. The music resumed, but it sounded a bit off as musicians tried to surpass their laughter as well.

"With her prince Charming and Evil Queen defeated, she left the kingdom with her prince to live happily ever after."

The curtains closed, and the wild clapping abused everybody's ears. After a short while, the curtain opened. All the actors and backstage hands bowed with Sakura in front of them.

"Thank you for being here with us!" she shouted. "I hope you had a great time!"

"Yeah!"

"That was awesome!"

Students shouted, and senseis nodded, whispering among themselves about the twist. The history sensei confirmed that oral hygiene in medieval times wasn't the best. This fun bit made her colleagues giggle.

"Thank you for coming!" Sakura shouted, and the rest waved until the curtain closed.

With people leaving, Rigaku couldn't dash to meet his brother. Once he was there, Kagetsu was in the middle of bowing.

"I'm sorry for ruining your play!"

Kosuke next to him scratched behind his head. "I'm sorry too! I was so nervous, I bought the baguette with a lot of garlic, eating it whole before the play!"

Sakura eyed her two main stars. With a sigh, she said, "Well, it was unexpected, but the audience loved it." She paced in front of them. "Let's keep it!"

Students around Kagetsu patted his shoulders.

Rigaku let out a relieved sigh. 'Everything is okay.' however, by watching Kagetsu talking with people around him, he couldn't stop thinking his brother's smile was a mask.

The premiere turned into a big success, and over the weekend, they had four plays and over the next one two more, making it six performances in total. For a small group like this, it was exhausting, but they all loved their drama club, so they poured everything into it.
