Freya wiped a tear. 'What a cute story.' She looked out of the window as the text ended. At first, she blinked, and then her face exploded with shock. She grabbed her schoolbag, leaping out.

Raspy breaths escaped her lungs. She had to lean against the bus stop sign. 'I... I almost forgot to... get out...' She let out a deep breath and tucked the notebook into her bag. 'I really wonder who wrote this story.'

A lot of hours later, Rigaku had awakened from his feverish dream. With a parched throat, he wheezed.

"Hey, bro!" Kagetsu leaned from his place by the nightstand. "You feeling better? I'll get you some water." The third brother dashed out to get it without giving his oldest sibling any time for an answer.

His brown eyes trailed the vast room. With an aching hand, he rubbed them as the ceiling threatened to crush him.

"Don't you dare to move," the youngest triplet rebuked him since Rigaku tried to sit up. "You need to take it slowly." Kagetsu helped him to lift his head, pouring the cold liquid into his arid mouth. Then he took a pill to help him recover.

"Thank you..."

"No prob. That's what bros do."

Rigaku winced, closing his eyes as his perception turned upside down. 'Kagetsu... A girl?' He moved his head left and right, sensing his brain did a somersault as the darkness spun around him.

When he opened them, his vision cleared. 'Must have been a hallucination.'

Kagetsu put his hand on Rigaku's forehead. 'So cold.'

"Man, you are still burning."

"Ah..."

"You need to rest. Are you hungry? I'll get you some soup and tea."

His brother nodded, despite he wasn't in a mood to eat at all. Once he left, Rigaku got out of bed. The spinning brain tried to get him on his knees, but the boy's stubborn nature stomped it into dust.

He put on his glasses, making the first uncertain steps. A few deep breaths entered his lungs, filling him with confidence before he could make this. He adjusted his frames once more.

Over his drenched pajama, he threw a coat, grabbed his purse, and exited the flat. On his way down, he used emergency stairs to avoid meeting Kagetsu.

'I need to get it...' He stopped for a breath, leaning against the wall. 'I can't lose it.' The image of the notebook he left in the library haunted him in his fever dreams.

It kept burning and turning into ash, getting torn into shreds by shadowy figures. Or he tried to grab it, but the wind always took it away. Outside, he found a bus stop and got on the bus heading to his school.
