Hailey's pov :
I was making a gift (a teddy bear that said Griff+Hailey)for griff when he called us over. So I walked over and put the teddy bear on a nearby table and walked over surprised to see a spinning saw blade of death! Griff fires it up.
"Why would you build a children's toy with a spinning saw blade?" Lou said confused
"Because you have to be 21 to rent a flamethrower." Griff said in a 'duh' tone "Time to reck the halls!" He said excited
"Griff NO!" I screamed
He turns the machine on and I try and grab the bear but all I receive is a cut on my arm and the bear is destroyed along with other toys and Lou's gingerbread house. Stuffing flies all over the place whilst am clutching my now bleeding arm!
"Not my gingerbread house! There is an innocent gumdrop family in there!" Lou shouts
"Griff that's enough!" I shout
He finally stops when he notices my bleeding arm.
"Hailey are you okay!" He exclaimed worried
"No and it's your fault...you know what I can't deal with this..am gonna go find Tiffany and Zuri." I said annoyed
Griff's pov: "What have I done I hurt the person i love most." I said disappointed in myself "I gotta go apologise." I said
I bolted off to find Hailey. I had no luck finding her so I went to read and calm down.
Hailey's pov: I cleaned my wound and saw Zuri, Tiffany and Jorge heading to to the barn to take care of a reindeer so I went with them.
"Hey, Santa, great idea bringing me, Hailey and Zuri on board to help with the reindeer." Tiffany said
"Yeah Jorge won the award for most irresponsible Camper..." zuri starts
"Then he lost the trophy." I finished for Zuri
"Hey I could have handled this myself" Jorge said trying to defend himself
"Really?" Tiffany asked
"Where's your other shoe?" I asked
"Dang it!" He said as he looked down
"Up top Hailey." Santa giggled
"So which one is he Blitzen? Prancer?" Zuri asked excited
"Is it Frodo Jorge asked
"Am sorry how dumb are you?" I asked in a 'what the heck' tone.
"That's a hobbit you are so in over your head." Tiffany rolled her eyes
"Actually this is Harold." Santa corrected
"I've never heard of a flying reindeer named Harold." Zuri said confused
"That's because he can't fly." Santa says
"Then why do you have him?" I asked
"Well Blitzen's getting up there in years, so its time for him to retire." Santa explains
"Oh my Grandpa did that now all he does is watch infomercials and wear his pants up to his armpits."Jorge said obviously giving a bit to much info.
Me, Tiffany and Zuri wore confused looks. After that I zoned out thinking about griff I miss him so much I know he never meant to hurt me I should go find him.
Griff's pov:
I failed in trying to find Hailey to apologise I felt so bad.Meanwhile Ravi and Lou are playing good cap bad cop.
"So Griff, Buddy, pal we are here to have a friendly little chat..why did you decided to make such a dangerous "toy"?" Ravi questioned
"Because making Christmas gifts is lame sorry for tryna have some fun." I rolled my eyes
"FUN? Is that why you came to toy-making class? For fun?
Lou questioned slamming her hand on the table startling me.
"No I came cause you guys said I had to." I said
"You sliced a poor innocent stuffed toy in half, widowed poor Mrs sugarbuttons and injured your girlfriend you probably like that kinda thing. You make me sick." She said all in my face
"I apologise for Lou she can get a little hot-headed." He said moving
"Would you like water perhaps a bon-bon?" He said still with the good cop act
"Guys I know you playing good cop bad cop, I've been interrogated before. Although, never by a cop with his fly down." I said making him turn around.
"Well that tainted the investigation." Lou said
"Seriously, Griff, What were you thinking? The toys we made were Christmas gifts for needy kids." He asked.
"So what?" I asked
"So those kids don't have much, and this is a nice way to..."
"I don't care about those kids, I don't care about anything...JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" I shouted and walked off.
