"Heeeeellllllllooooooo?" Aphmau says as she snaps her fingers in front of my face.
"What?"
"You've been staring off into space for the last 5 minutes, what happened?" She questions
"Oh sorry. I guess I got a little distracted" Oh shit was I really blanking out for that long. I have a strange feeling that it was that girl's fault and I have an even stranger feeling that this won't be the last time. Great, what am I gonna do now?
"Y/n!?!? Stop spacing out on me, I'm starting to worry" She worriedly states with concern evident in her face.
"Sorry, sorry it won't happen again" I could already tell that was a lie. And judging by the look on her face I'd say she knew too. "Anyway, so you know where you're going to first?"
"Kinda"
"Good to hear cause I've gotta meet up with a friend or two"
"A boyfriend?" She playfully giggles as she nudges my arm.
"No"
"Girlfriend?"
"No"
"Ooooooh" She pouts. "Well cya then"
"Bye"
I walk off and head into school. The place is packed and so it's annoying to maneuver through the crowds to try and get to my homeroom. Shuffling through everyone and saying the occasional "sorry" to anyone I butt into. I eventually come face to face with a blueberry, a casanova, and a football boy.
"Sup Y/n" Katelyn greets with her usual sense of enthusiasm.
"Hey," Laurance and Dante both say in unison.
"Hi, hi, hi. What you lot doing?" I reply letting my curiosity get the better of me.
"About to set up for the club meet orientation thing"
"Helpful Dante and now completely understand everything now" I sarcastically retort
"The freshmen are gonna go into the gym after homeroom to see if they are interested in any clubs" Laurance retorts and looks at Dante with a smug grin.
"Wanna come help out, it would be a lot more fun with you there" Katelyn says as she looks down to the floor trying to hide her face from me.
"I would love to but I gotta go help out in the homerooms" Katelyn frowns. "Speaking of which I gtg get to said homeroom, catch you guys later" I say as I turn tail and runoff in the other direction as I hear all three shouts "cya" behind me.
I run to homeroom and when I say homeroom I mean every room cause I am completely lost. I feel like I've gone around to every room already but still no luck. Then my saving grace appears.
"Y/n-Senpai"
I turn around and are impediment pulled into a tight hug by the one, the only, Kawaii-Chan.
"Hey KC. Boy am I happy to see you, I need your help finding a room"
"This is Kawaii-Chan's first day, why would Kawaii-Chan know when Y/n-Senpai has been going here for a year already" KC questions and suddenly makes me realise my stupidity.
