𝘎𝘙𝘈𝘠𝘓𝘐𝘕 𝘕𝘖𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌𝘋 𝘛𝘏𝘌 missed text from her brother only after Rafe and her had slowly peeled themselves off his bed. She cursed under her breath as she read the first text Topper had sent twenty minutes ago that read, Sarah isn't here. The second one from four minutes ago put her more at ease: Never mind she came home.
She didn't expect to hear their voices carry throughout the house as she climbed down the stairs at the Cameron's estate. Rafe trailed behind her, but the instant she caught hold of the words that were being tossed between her brother and his girlfriend, Graylin stopped in her tracks and Rafe collided into her.
"Did you forget about the part where you cheated on me?" Topper was saying. "Huh?! Did you forget about that?"
Graylin felt Rafe's hands come up to hold her arms as he steadied them from toppling down the stairs. She had to ignore the tingles that arose from his touch in order to turn to face him with wide eyes.
"Sarah cheated on Topper?" She questioned Rafe, but the boy only shrugged. A sigh escaped her lips before she turned back around and sped down the stairs with a determination to mediate her brother's confrontation so that it wouldn't turn ugly. She was too late, however.
