The thoughts flew so fast through her mind– how good he looked in the workout tank he was wearing, how much he scared the shit out of her last night, how attractive it was to see his jaw clench when their eyes met, how much he scared the shit out of her last night, how enticing his lips looked coated in juices from the apple he was eating, how much he scared the shit out of her last night . . .There was no way she could forget how aggressive he'd been with her at the party. However, it only took a few moments of staring at him while he inquired about her hangover for the detail to become less pertinent to her.
A week ago, Graylin could have confidently ranted to her friends about how much she despised Rafe Cameron. He was arrogant, selfish, reckless, ignorant, the list went on. She still saw him as all of those things, and she also still despised him. But those two things no longer held a cause and effect relationship with each other. The reason why Graylin despised Rafe now was because he made her feel something that she didn't want to feel for him. And he was trying to make her feel this something.
