𝘌𝘝𝘌𝘙 𝘚𝘐𝘕𝘊𝘌 𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘠 were twelve, Kheo and Graylin went to the annually held outdoor Summer Movie Series event on Kildare Island together. Though more friends started tagging along with them over the years, it had always been a special tradition for the the two.
Graylin figured this year would feel less special with Layla in the picture. She was surprised when Kheo bounded up to her and snuggled her close to his side with his girlfriend no where in sight.
"Hey, big guy. I haven't seen you in a while." She mustered up a smile as her hand came up to gently grab the arm he threw over her shoulders.
"Miss me much?" He teasingly questioned her.
"I'm working on learning how to share ya." Graylin grinned. "Speaking of sharing, where is Layla?"
"Ah, she's with her friends tonight. I'm also working on sharing."
To Graylin, it seemed like Kheo was doing more giving than getting when later that night, he plopped himself down next to her and offered to share a throw blanket with her before the movie started. The girl was uncomfortable at first after recent developments with him, but eventually agreed. She drew her knees to her chest and got comfy on the blanket they'd spread on the grass. She stilled the moment Kheo's warm hand snuck over her thigh and held her leg under the throw he'd covered them with. She didn't want to make a scene because Chessa and Gavin were next to her, so she allowed Kheo's hand to remain on her skin and found that she didn't enjoy it as much as she thought she would have. It was just . . . weird.
