He met them at a dinner party; hosted by one of his father's closest friends.

They noticed him within the first few minutes of their arrival, and from the moment he smiled politely, lips pulling into a pretty smile as his small dimples popped while his dad introduced him to them; an unspoken decision was immediately made between the three.

That Jung Hoseok would inevitably be theirs in the near future.

Little did Hoseok know that the near 'future' meant only an hour or two later.

After a while of mingling and chatting with guests while sipping on sour champagne and his cheeks hurting from pretending to smile for too long, Hoseok discretely made his way across the room and towards the stairs, walking up onto the second floor; away from the extravagant dinner party. It was his father's closest friend's house so he knew his way around like the back of his hand. And so, he ended up in the upstairs library, shutting the large doors behind him and taking quick steps towards the front shelf that held the many works of literature, finger's grazing across the spine of the titles, check-marking the checkboxes in his head of which of the pieces he's read until he was promptly pulled out of his thoughts. A knock.

His head whipped towards the doors, trying to process who it could be. A guest who probably got lost on their way to the bathroom? He pondered on the thought, ready to guide them in the direction of wherever he needed to be until there was light now slipping its way through the crack of the opened door. Revealing one of the brothers he met earlier; Min.

Hoseok sucked in a breath, shutting his mouth from being agape for being slightly taken aback by his sudden appearance.

Min was shorter than Hoseok by merely a few inches, muscular and very handsome —just like his brothers who were in fact; taller than him, but Min was the eldest. His hand still settled on the doorknob as he scanned around the room before his eyes then landed on the other.

"Would it be alright if we kept you company?" Min smiled politely at Hoseok, eyes never leaving the younger's as he stepped further into the room, gaze cool and lax as Hoseok suddenly gave a small nod, face feeling warmer once he noticed the other said 'we'.

Of course, his brothers followed him in as well. Min walked in first, then Kim and Kim—both men stood confident and tall, handsome, attractive and broody. One carried somewhat of a playful grin, dark, wavy curls framing his face nicely. The other one could tell was reserved and quiet, an easy smile displayed on his face as two dimples popped softly, hair pushed back displaying his beautiful forehead. All three were equally handsome, given that they were brothers—stepbrothers

Then, his thought bubble popped the moment Jungkook had rushed into the room as well, tie pulled down, shirt unbuttoned from the first few buttons while sweat glistened on his forehead. A bright goofy smile decorating his cute face. Here he was, Jeon Jungkook; a shameless flirt and entirely reckless and definitely the most immature out of the lot; typical rich, spoilt brat who almost always had a smug smirk on his pretty face.

"The party downstairs got boring without you," Jungkook spoke, smirking as he plopped down on the couch; manspreading without any shame, looking all smug. He had been effortlessly flirting with Hoseok the entire night.

Hoseok chuckled, small tinkling laughter filling the peaceful air, shaking his head in disagreement towards the younger as his curls bounced against his forehead; "I can never get away from you, can I Kook?"

"Never," Jungkook smiled back, now crossing his legs. "Not until you let me take you out on a date—a real date, without your father being around, kicking my ass." He puffed his cheeks. The many reminiscences of striving to get Hoseok to go somewhere with him, but the latter's father somehow always finding a way to involve himself whenever the younger was around.
