Ancient Jewels Part 2

A/N: The Rangers begin their quest for the Ancient Jewels of the Elementals. Unfortunately for them, it won't be easy...not at all.

The ninjas stood outside making final preparations for their trip.

"From what my dad told me, this teleportation method is easier because we can communicate while we're traveling," Sofia told them. "But...there is a slight chance that we'll lose some fingers."

At that, the rangers gave her a strange look. Sofia chuckled.

"I'm just joking," Sofia assured them.

The power rangers let out sighs of relief as Sofia laughed at them.

"What's so funny?" Hunter asked.

"Your faces," Sofia cackled, laughing so hard her cheeks were turning red.

"Yeah, hilarious," Cam grumbled, rolling his eyes. "Can we go now?"

Sofia immediately sobered. "Yeah, let's."

They heard a groan from Blake and turned to see him holding his chest.

"Blake, are you sure you're alright?" Tori asked as she placed a hand on his back.

"Uh, yeah, I'm great, just a, um, heartburn," Blake lied. "Yeah, that's what it is...heartburn," he muttered.

"Uh-huh, if it's heartburn then why are you drenched in sweat," Tori interrogated, not believing him completely.

"Why wouldn't I be? It's so humid out here," Blake replied.

"Dude, there is no humidity," Dustin pointed out. "We live in California."

"Oh, right," Blake mumbled.

"You sure you'll be okay for this trip?" Shane wondered.

"Yeah, I'll be perfectly fine. It's already going away, dude," Blake replied, standing straight up.

"Right, well, we should head out before Diabolos puts his shiny nose into our business," Shane said.

The rangers muttered their agreements.

"Let's morph first," Shane said. "Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Ninja Storm!"

"Thunder Storm!"

"Samurai Storm!"

"Blizzard Storm!"

"Ranger form, ha!"

They morphed and readied themselves for intergalactic travels.

"Okay, preparing to teleport in 3...2...1," Sofia counted down. As soon as she hit one, she pressed a button on her morpher and all seven rangers were swept up in streaks of teleportation in their respective colors.

The light streaks soared through the sky and entered outer space, soon exiting the atmosphere and then the Milky Way.

"Woohoo, this is fun," Dustin cheered from his yellow streak.

"Don't get too comfortable, Dustin, we'll be landing soon," Cam called from his green streak.

"Yeah, but the thrill of traveling through space is worth it," Dustin said.

"Ha! He says that now, but in an hour...he'll be complaining," Shane laughed.

"You don't know that," Dustin argued.

"Actually, we do," Hunter countered from his crimson streak.

The rangers laughed and continued soaring through the air.
