Chapter 13

Hayes pov
So I asked Natalie to be my girlfriend again. She was hesitant at first but she opened up and agreed to my question. I have a perfect date in mind for tonight.
H: hey Natalie I'm coming to pick you up at 6:30 so please be ready.
N: okay! What should I wear?
H: casual. See you at 6:30

With that I shut my phone off and started planning my date with Natalie. It has to be perfect. Im staying with Nash and Cameron while I'm here so I decided to ask for some ideas.
"Hey cam what should I do with a date in this city?" I asked
"Hmmm... The beach Is always pretty...Santa Monica, seal beach, bolsa chicka, if you want to have a bond fire go there they always have the best areas to do it." He said proudly.
"Hmm. Okay thanks I'll think about that." I say in reply.
"So you and natalie huh?" He says with a wink and as slight smirk on his face.
"Yeah...we are not that serious yet..but u really like her..I never stopped." I said not trying to sound stupid.
"That's cute Hayes but let's not blush as much as you are right now on your date." He said with a wink and walked away.
"Cameron!!!!!!" I screamed and decided to change and take a shower. I put on My Vans t-shirt. And my grey vans. It's now 5:30 and it will take about an hour to get to Natalie's place so I hope she will have fun tonight.

Natalie's Pov
When Hayes told me we were going out tonight I freaked because I was not ready at all. I ran up stairs and showered. When I was done washing my hair I stepped out and dried my body. I started I blow dry my hair when EmaLee and Georgi walked in
"What are you getting all pretty for?" Ema asked
"A date....." I said trying to blow dry my hair without leaving any wet hair left.
"OH MY GOSH LET US HELP YOU GET READY!!!!!" They both screamed in sink.
"Okay fine but we need to hurry." I said.
Georgi was curling my hair and EmaLee was doing my makeup.
"Wear this." Georgi said pointing at black high waisted shorts and a loose blue lace tank top. Ema handed me my black converse and with that the doorbell rang.
I walked/ ran down the stairs and opened the door to find Hayes standing there with his hands in his pockets.
"Hey..you ready?" he said with a slight bit of nervousness.
"Yep!" I said popping the p, while walking out the door and to his car. He walked around the car with me and opened the car door.
"For my lady." He said with a smirk while opening the door.
"Why thank you kind sir." I say in between laughing.
Hayes jogs around the car and gets in. We drive for awhile and I finally wonder where we are going.
"Hayes where are we going?" I say kinda nervous but trying not to show it.
"It's a surprise babe..just chill we will be there in a few minutes." He said while rubbing his thumb over the top of my hands.
"Okay.." I spiffed out.
When we pulled up to the parking lot I couldn't help but smile.
"How'd you know I loved this place?" I said smirking at Hayes.
"Well I just remembering you always ranting about it at camp." He said laughing.
With that we jumped out of the car and I ran to the ticket booth. Well Hayes walked/ jogged behind me. Again I absolutely love this place. He bought the tickets after a long argument on who was going to buy them. He won of course like he always does. The Santa Monica pier has so many things to do. We first went on the roller coaster, I am deathly scared of roller coasters and Hayes could sense that.
"You okay?.." He asked
"Y-yeah never better." I said as we were getting strapped in.
When we took off up to the top I started to shake.
"H-Hayes I can't do this I'm sacred!" I practically screamed at the top of my lungs.
"I will never let anything happen to you. I promise." He said being as serious as possible. And with that the roller coaster dropped down and I screamed and screamed. But then it became funner and funner. Until I was laughing my head off at the end.
"See it wasn't that bad huh?" Hayes said smiling at me.his dimple gets me every time.
"Nah..maybe a little..but it got really fun!" I said jumping in mid air.
he asked if I wanted to play games at the little booths I agreed and we played the ring toss game.
"Okay I got 2 in I need 3 to win! I need some good luck!" He said while pointing at his cheek.
"In your dreams Grier!" I said with a smirk.
"Ugh fine." He said and threw the ting and it landed on the bottle. He asked me what animal I wanted and I pointed to the huge elephant. He got that and to my surprise I see someone I haven't seen in ages.
"SHAKARA?!?" I screamed
She turned around and saw me and slightly smiled.
"Hey...how are you.. I haven't seen you since middle school." she said with a little annoyance.
"What are you doing out here?" I asked
"Well me and my boyfriend Harry live here..well I have to go. Nice seeing you." And with that she tapped her glasses down back to her face and walked off hand in hand with Harry. Well. That's great. Hayes and I went to eat afterwards. The sun was setting and we got in line for the Ferris wheel.
Once we got in the cart with the elephant, it started to move.
"Wow! Look at all the lights." I whispered/screamed.
"I know it's beautiful. Just like you." (cheesy I know just go with it.)
I couldn't help but blush.
I turned my head towards the sea and look off into the distance. Then all of a sudden the Ferris wheel stopped at the top.
"Natalie.." Hayes said to me
"Yes..." I asked
"I love you." And with that his lips crashed into mine and the fireworks I haven't felt in ages went off. We pulled away and stared at each other.
"Wow." Is all I could say.
"I love you too. Grier. " I said and rested my head on his shoulder. Tonight was one of the best nights of my life.
