Chapter 16

2 days later
Natalie's Pov
"I can't believe this....this is the last night I will be sleeping in my bedroom.." I told EmaLee.
"I know we're gonna miss you so much!!!!" She told me.
"But hayes hasn't came by yet....maybe he dosent want to see me again.." I sobbed out.
"Awe Natalie baby it's gonna be okay.." Georgi came up next to me and said.
Maybe hayes really is over me and wants to leave me...maybe he finally made the decision.
"Guys lets go to bed...I have a LONG drive tomorrow." I said with the depression lingering on my tongue.
"Yeah your right you do have a long drive and we have a sad morning ahead of us.." Ema said.
"Good night everyone I love you." I said and they left my room. When they left I went to the balcony attached to my room and sat down and starred at the city.

Hayes POV
I've been at home these past 3 days doing absolutely nothing. I've been going over Natalies words in my head.
"Come by if you actually love me but if you don't love me don't bother showing up." I love her but she didn't tell me she was leaving...she probably was just gonna go and never look at me again. "Ahhhhhhh!!! Why is LOVE so COMPLICATED!!!!" I screamed.
"Because if it wasn't life would be super boring...." Nash said and sat next to me. "I know you love her just go to her and apologize for everything you did."
Maybe he's right I can't live without her.

Natalies pov
Ugh it's time. I walked down the stairs and saw my true friends: Georgi, EmaLee, Nicole, and Kaitlyn. Tears rolled down my face when I saw that Hayes wasn't here. "Well guys you all have been such great friends and I love that you have been there from the start...when the season starts I hope you all will be at my games and cheer me on. This isn't goodbye it's just another opportunity to say hello again." I said and let the tears flow. "I-I love you-you all!" I said and everyone went in for a hug. I walked out the door and got into my car. "GOODBYE NATALIE WE LOVE YOU!!" They screamed. "Love you too!!!" I said and put my car into reverse. I pulled out onto sunset blvd and drove onto the 405-north towards Cal Berkeley. My new life is starting and maybe it's for the best he didn't come..it at least showed he didn't love me.

Hayes pov
I ran up to her door step and knocked on the door as hard as I could.
"Hello?" EmaLee answers the door.
"Y-YESS I need to speak to Natalie is she here!?!" I practically screamed."
"N-no she left 15 minutes ago...I'm sorry Hayes your too late." She said and a tear left her eye.
"Oh...thanks..." I said and she shut the door. I walked down the steps and to my car. I knew what I need to do. I stared my car and drove towards the 405-north on ramp. I sped past cars and found my exit within 4 hours. "I remember this place" I mumbled to myself. I pulled into a visitors parking spot and ran up to the "addmisons office".
"Hi ma'm I need to know what room Natalie Brooks is staying in?" I said with a slight sigh at the end.
"I'm sorry that information is confidential..are you family?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
"No but I really need to see her!" I blurt out.
"Okay kid you seem like a nice guy so I'm going to tell you, BUT don't tell anyone I did this! she's in building C room 22." She said and gave me a map of the campus.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!!" I screed and ran away from the desk. I found building C and walked to the second floor and found room 22. "This is it..here goes nothing." I said under my breath.
*knock, knock,knock*
"One second!" She screamed I couldn't help but laugh.
I heard the locks come undone and I couldn't help but feel nervous.
"Hel-HAYES?!"
