The minute Lisa got home from dance practice she immediately video called her friends, thankfully they were all awake
"Why such a late call?" Irene whined removing her sleeping mask from her face
"I just got back from practice, don't you guys want to hear how the ride went?" Lisa asked, making sure she kept quiet, her mom was sleeping in the next room
"How'd it go!" Jisoo shouted she didn't need to be quiet her parents were never home
"Rosé had me sit in the passenger seat,"
"So you sat right next to Jennie!?" Seulgi yelled excited
"Yeah, but it was kind od awkward," Lisa continued scrathing her cheek, "I didn't talk much," Lisa sighed, "Guys, Jennie doesn't like me, I know she hates being around me, Rosé asked if I needed a ride home and I saw how uncomfortable Jennie was so I declined," Lisa sighed again, "I think I'm gonna drop the bet,"
"What!?" Jisoo and Seulgi yelled, causing Irene and Lisa to cover their ears
"Why would you do that?" The black-haired girl asked
"I just explained why,"
"Come on, Lisa, you can't drop out now," Jisoo tried to convince
"Why not? I haven't made any progress!" Lisa raised her voice, she sighed rubbing her forehead, "I have to go, see you guys tomorrow,"
"Lisa, wa-," the blonde left the call before Jisoo could finish

A couple weeks passed, Lisa had left Jennie alone like she said she would and Rosé found it weird
"Lisa hasn't talked to you for a couple weeks now," Rosé pointed out, the two were in the brunette's car on their way to school
"I don't care, like I've said many times I don't want to be her friend,"
The red head dropped the conversation
"So, you get partners today in Theater class, right?" Rosé asked trying to spark up a conversation
"Yup,"
"Who do you hope you're paired with?" Rosé asked
"Anybody that isn't Lisa," Jennie said blankly
Rosé smiled, "You keep thinking about her,"
"What, no," the brunette tried to defend
"Yes, if you so badly don't want to be her friend why do you keep talking about her?" Rosé then gasped, "You like her!"
Jennie slammed on the breaks, "If you don't shut up I will kick you out of this car and you can walk the rest of the way,"
"Okay okay, geez," Rosé rubbed her neck were a red mark was forming
They sat in silence for the rest of the ride

"What are the chances you get pair with Jennie?" Seulgi asked scrolling thorough her phone
Irene nudged her and glared
Lisa let out a sigh and rubbed her forehead, she placed her phone on the grass, "How many times do I have to tell you to drop this whole Jennie thing?"
The group fell silent
Jisoo stood up from the ground, "I think we need to be heading to class,"
The group agreed and dispersed

"Goodmorning class," Mr. Park greeted, "Today you will be finding out who your partners are, today I have a wheel with everyone's name, I'll be spinning the wheel and the two people it lands on are partners, this way no one can get mad at me,"
