1. This story is medium/slow burn with instant attraction. And when I say that I don't think that the main characters will meet each other and after three hours say 'I love you'. What I mean is that there will be time jumps, a lot of them.
2. English isn't my first language so there will be mistakes so I'm not gonna be mad if you correct me and show me my mistakes.
3. I'm not a professional writer and you will see it. This is my first book. Literally. I think I never in my life wrote this much. I started to write it over quarantine because I was bored.
I'm not gonna lie, I hate the beginning and how it's written but later on it gets better, of course if you decide to stick around. With that keep in mind that first - fifteen chapters are BADLY WRITTEN, later on I got a grip on writing so it improved and got way better than at beginning.

5. Chapters are not the same by the number of words. So some chapters might be longer than others. (1200 - 3000 words per chapter)

7. Mafia in this story is more on a family level, so it's more like a criminal family (a family with fingers in illegal business) than a mafia organization, but as you read everything will sit in its place (it doesn't cover some let's call it jobs) .
8. I can't mark this story as a dark romance, cause the full story itself isn't however some chapters contain that dark toxicity.

She has a bad past from which she desperately wants to escape. Getting a chance of escaping, she takes it. Moving away to a new country, a new city she thought that she had everything planned. But her plans went down the drain when she didn't get a job that needed to secure her stay there.
His life isn't easy neither. Being in a mafia family and be a single father can take its toll on you like it did on him. He keeps his privacy and cold demeanor around everyone except people who are close to him. His family means everything to him and he will do anything for them.
What happens when they cross paths?

"I thought that you are different, but I guess you are not. You are the same as all those lying whores." He spat with hatred and stalked back towards me.
"So why? Huh? Why make me fall in love with you? Was this all game to you? Is that what you two are trying to do? Play a game with me? Make me fall I love with you. So, you two could... what?" He asked looking at me "I asked you something?" He screamed as he punched the wall next to my head.
I flinched letting out a loud shriek trying to move from him, but he already grabbed my neck holding me in place.
"I didn't scare you, did I?" He asked then leaned closer to my face adding pressure on my neck, I started sobbing not knowing what I did wrong to receive this.
"You think this is scary, oh amore I didn't even start. But I promise you when I start you will be sorry that you ever betrayed me. I will make sure that you beg me to end your pathetic little life." He said through clenched teeth.
