It's weird thought Karl, senseless too,. From his hidden position he looked ahead at the distraught sign that read Camp Halfbloood. It might have been glorious once but now it was broken, fallen on the ground to rot. The area around was covered with vines with small creatures crawling around. The area was barren and dead
"How are we gonna get inside? "Samantha asked
"It makes no sense" Lucas said taking the words out of Karl's mouth, "The only residents of Camp Halfbloood are monsters they should have sniffed us out way before we could even glare at this sign"
"This means we have lost our element of suprise" finished Samantha
"But why would they let us come to them? " argued Karl
After thinking a great deal Karl came up with a theory "Yes, if they know we are coming they could probably smell us right now, and are waiting for something, that's a missing variable in our equation, but we also know that monsters are mostly just interested in devouring us.So-"
"That means something else planned this and is waiting for us" Lucas finished
"Something which they need from us in order to keep us alive, maybe some information" Karl continued.
"But we just got to know about camp Half-Blood like three days ago, what could we possibly know that they don't?" Samantha asked
"It might also be a deliberate attempt to throw us off track, any which ways-" Karl estimated
"But this also means his intentions are way worse than devouring us" Lucas cut in
"Yikes" said Samantha," should we sneak in then? "
"Probably " said Lucas
"No" said Karl," What's the use if they already know we are coming "
"I have devised a plan" Karl said, "they are keeping us alive because they want something from us, if we play our cards right we can crack a deal."
"A Deal between monsters and half - bloods?", Lucas questioned ," That is not normal."
"Define normal " said Samantha with a hint of sarcasm.
Samantha winked Karl and showed her teeth in a way of appreciation
As surprised as Karl was, Lucas found it unbelievable for Samantha and Karl to be on the same side of the page.
"If you want normal maybe you can host tea parties with Mrs Pearson" joked Karl
Samantha and Karl both giggled and bonded over this moment.
"Shut up both of you" eye rolled Lucas ," That's the only plan we have so we're gonna follow it"
The three fearlessly walked into Camp Halfbloood, when a woman, with striking 24 carat eyes came to them, Karl said, " Take me to your master"
And the woman snickered.
Maybe this was a bad plan.
