Chapter 14 - A Certain Criminal Investigation Aihana Etsu Conspiracy

"You can't be that cautious." Uiharu comments with a frown.

"What's going on?" Konori asks, looking at Li Mei, Yamane and Uiharu puzzled.

"Umm Annaisha-San." Uiharu says, scratching her cheek.

"No, I prefer Senpai or Sama." Annaisha applied resulting in Yamane, Uiharu sighing.

"Annaisha-Sama, why not link to Konori, instead of me? She is my chief after all and it would-"

"I don't wanna link with that cow!"

"... I'm not gonna tell her that." Uiharu's head cartoonishly shrinks looking away from Konori.

"Okay listen I'm just gonna tell you guys now before any more interruptions." Yamane states giving out a serious concern stare, "Listen up everyone, a few days ago prior before the daihaseisai, me and the other Daihaseisai Management Committee were assigned to well manage preparations for the daihaseisai festival. We were all assigned roles in its preparations, separated into divisions according to levels of education as well other topics. The board of directors requested we take up good example espers for the opening. To avoid risks we decided to take upon two of the seven level 5s. On our quest it was a real struggle, the 4th rank level 5, the 2nd rank level 5 and the 3rd rank was a decline. And the 1st rank... let's just say his reply was very unpleasant. But fortunately the 5th rank esper Shokuhou Misaki agreed, and the 7th rank level 5 Sogiita Gunha."

"He said yes right?" Li Mei comments, "After all my friend Jeong-Min said he was rehearsing."

"Well yeah, however when we got his approval it wasn't him directly. It was his teacher that said yes for him. Considering the unfortunate attempts with the other level 5s Eiichi Itō and Fumihiro Yamamoto didn't want to take any chances on any sudden last minute declines from Sogiita... So they decided to ask the level 5 I gave up on. The 6th rank level 5 Aihana Etsu."

"Aihana Etsu?" Li Mei repeats looking back at the other members.

"Yeah The reason why I couldn't locate 'em was because all over Academy City Aihana's initials is spread around the entire city. To put it simply, Aihana Etsu is dealing with an identity thief."

"That's terrible!" Uiharu saids frowning once more.

"But why didn't Etsu report the acts of such a crime?"

"Exactly why didn't Etsu report the crimes?" Yamane replied, shocking the group. Not to mention not just this once but a lot of individuals are using Etsu's name."

"Okay and what does Etsu have to do with any of this? Get on with it already!" Annaisha shouts telepathically starling the ones who are linked.

"Nothing... nothing at all. Eiichi Itō and Fumihiro Yamamoto went missing the day they went to search on Aihana."

"Missing?" The group repeats at the same time as Yamane's announcement.

"And you know when I tried, I felt like someone was watching me. Eiichi Ito and Fumihiro are missing, I don't care whose responsible but please find Eiichi and Fumihiro! Especially now, we will try to work something out with their parents."

"It has to be the urban legend! It's real I knew it! I knew it!" Annaisha telepathically shouts once more. "The government is behind this! Fufufu! I've been waiting for the time for this! I'll get right to it!"

"Why do I have to get such a blast full!?" Uiharu cried out! "But though this is very serious I'll look in on this as well."

"We will have to be very precise about this, whoever planned this had more time to prepare this. We need to be extra careful, I'll use my esper ability and shout anything suspicious," Konori saids, while nodding. "Kuroko is still recovering it would be best we don't put her through so much okay Uiharu."
