CHAPTER 34

"Yeah sure; I said giving her the baby and she took her gently.

Mama and Haifa excuse themselves leaving us alone.

"How are you feeling?? I asked and she replied without taking her eyes off the baby.

"She's beautiful; she wispered

"Yeah, she also has your dimple I stated.

"She looks innocent;she said quickly cleaning her tears I didn't notice she was crying because her head was down.

"Hey, why are you crying I said sitting beside her.

"It...just that am very happy, I can't believe I am a mother now...we're parents Amir, she's our daughter,she croaked.

"Yeah but stop crying , we have a daughter to take care of, I said patting her and she giggle.

"I am going to take care of both of you, you two are the best things,gift and blessing that ever happened to me ,I promise to be a good,caring father and husband okay?; I said kissing her forehead.

"Okay!!! She hiccuped.

"So what are you going to name her?? I asked looking at the baby.

"I um..am going to name her after my late sister what do you think??

"Nabila?? I asked and she nodded smiling looking at me.

"But let's call her Inaya, meaning God's gift.
She said.

"Inaya I smiled kissing my daughter's head.

"I love the name and I love you both; I whisper hugging both of them.

"We love you too,sabreen replied.

"Awwwnnnn!!! You guys look cute, wait let me take a picture;Haifa said clicking a few pictures.

"So what's her name?? Haifa asked.

"Nabila, but we will call her Inaya, sabreen said smiling.

"Hi there baby Inaya she said picking her up, my name is Haifa and i am your aunt, and this is your dad,mom and this is grandma she said introducing everyone.

"You fool,how can a baby know what you're saying. Mama said shaking her head in disbelief.

"Hey baby Inaya they said you don't know what am saying?? She asked Inaya and she who made a little baby sound.

"See she said she can understand she said giggling.

SABREEN

"Surely with every hardship comes ease".
My life has changed completely ,who will have ever thought that, that is why God said be patient and I will surely be with you and he only test the servants he loves, Haifa said I am patient because my name is sabreen meaning the patient one.
Sometimes you have to go through alot before you become happy.
A month after I returned to Abuja, kaka died I was very sad that I had cried. I also got to know farhan's mom was the one that set up everything, she apologized saying she was just jealous of me,she wanted Amir to marry Rahinah because her boyfriend dumped her but she had repented so I forgave her...who am I not to?
Inaya's little cries bought me out of my thoughts.

"Hey Inaya why are you crying?? I asked picking her up.
After rocking her for some minutes she finally fell asleep and I gently placed her in her crib. Nursing a baby isn't easy, Inaya will sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and start crying for no reason. Amir is helping alot though.

"Welcome back I said to Amir.

"Thank you, where is Inaya??

"She is sleeping.

"Okay.

"Let me go get you something to drink; I said getting up but he stopped me.

"What?? I asked sitting beside him.

"Nothing I just want you beside me he said pecking my cheek and I blushed biting my lips.

"So you're now a mother?? He asked smiling.

"I guess so I mumbled smiling too.

"Lets go I want to see my baby he said getting up.

Amir kept touching her hair,this has became a habit he always touches her hair whenever he is near her and I slapped his hand away.

"Don't wake her I wispered.

"Don't worry I am going to hold her if she wakes up he whispered back.

"Like for real?? I asked rolling my eyes.
And he started laughing saying "I never thought there will come a day when we have to whisper talk in our own house he said and I smiled.

"Yeah I pouted.

"Babies are rulers...
You know when I first hit you with my car back at Kaduna?? He asked and I nodded.

"That day I said something like I have entered Kaduna with a bad luck this time,but I was wrong not knowing it was good luck he said chuckling.

"Yeah that's how God is; I replied.

"I love you he said pecking me.

"I love you too I replied giggling.

"You didn't peck me he stated raising one eyebrow.

"I don't want to...

"Yeah you have to he said and I started laughing and the next thing we heard was inaya crying.

"Ohh oooo!!! I whisper looking at Amir whose eyes were wide open.

"She is awake...

"Ummhmm and you're going to rock her until she sleeps I said walking out of the room in a hurry chuckling.

"But at least come help me I hear him yelling with Inaya crying softly.

"Nah!! I warned you I yelled back smiling.

Alhamdullilah for this beautiful blessing and beautiful gift. he took away my parents and sister and he gave me Amir and Inaya.
I love you Amir and Inaya.
