"A field trip?!"

"Well, not exactly."

After quickly explaining that they were going to a place called the "Unforeseen Simulation Joint" (or the "USJ" for short) that was a part of the school, everyone was sent off to get ready with their hero costumes and belongings for the trip. Which didn't take too long since every student was excited to get out of the classroom for a day.

In under fifteen minutes, the class of 1-A had finished getting ready and started to board the bus that would take them to the USJ.

"I wonder what other teachers will be teaching us at USJ," a green haired student said absentmindedly. Y/n couldn't put a finger on it, but she somehow reminded her of a tree frog. "Do you have any idea, L/n-chan? You seem to be close with the teachers. Especially with Aizawa sensei, kero."

The h/c girl stiffened. And then she remembered that you had an image to uphold. "I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about. When have I ever shown any closeness with the staff?"

"You always arrive to school at the same time as Aizawa sensei. You think we wouldn't notice, freaky eyes? What's your deal?" said Bakugou out of the blue.

Y/n glared at him with the one eye of hers that wasn't covered. "Are you so stupid as to be unaware of the meaning of the word 'coincidence', idiot?"

Everyone on the bus plugged their ears. For the first time in a long time, Katsuki Bakugou didn't make an angry retort back. He just sat there, baffled at Y/n's blatant rudeness. The first time he saw her, he thought of her as just another extra that was there to complete the set of students in 1-A. But when she straight up insulted him when the press was invading the school and she had gotten them both out of the crowd of panicked students, he knew there was something weird about her.

In class, Y/n was quiet. Maybe even on the same level as that kid who had a rock-shaped head. She seemed secretive and reserved.

But every time she talked to Bakugou, she cracked. She let some of her real self show, and came up with a comeback that was... dare he say... nearly as good as his own. There was something fishy about that fact. Why was she acting so differently than what she might really have been? And was he the only one who noticed it? What was going on? Katsuki came to the conclusion that he had to know more about Y/n L/n. He had to know in order to satisfy his curiosity. And possibly dig up some blackmail material. 'Spill the tea, sis', he thought randomly. He direly hoped that he was using that saying properly.

Kaminari came over to join the conversation. "Speaking of secrets... L/n-chan, what even is your quirk? I don't remember you mentioning it any time before."

At this, everyone in the bus seemed to inch closer. No student other than Izuku knew about her quirk yet. It wasn't obvious, either, since she barely used it.

"U- umm..." Y/n visibly squirmed uncomfortably in her seat. As you all know, it's very hard to act normal when there are a bunch of people staring at you and listening in on every word you say.

'Should I tell them about my quirk? What if they have the same reaction as my parents did...?'

"M- my quirk is called-"

"We're here! Get off the bus everyone," called the bus driver.

"Welcome, students of 1A, to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint! I'm Space Hero: Thirteen and today we'll be going over what are the do's and dont's of training here and the different areas you'll be working at!"

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! It's Space Hero: Thirteen! She's my idol! She's so cool!" Uraraka was bobbing her head up and down enthusiastically. She looked like she was vibrating from afar.

Thirteen went on to explain things for a long time. At some point, it started to get a bit much.

"-Thank you for that... detailed explanation, Thirteen. I think it's time to start now," Aizawa sensei interrupted her constant chatter.

"Oh, yes. I'm sorry. Now let's begi-"

The lights in the USJ went out.

"Ah!! What's happening?! Did the training already start?!!" said a student.

"Stand back, all of you. Something's not right here," warned Aizawa.

Strange noises started coming from all around the dome. Suddenly, purplish black portals started to appear, letting loose villains of all sorts into the school facility.

"Those are real villains! What do we do?!" Midoriya worriedly glanced around.

"FIGHT THEM, OF COURSE!" shouted Bakugou, running for the nearby cliff.

Aizawa blocked him. "NO. All of you stay here. Let the pros handle this. Don't move!" He put on his visor. "Thirteen! Watch the students. I'll go for the offense!"

He jumped down and got into action. Using swift kicks, his weaponized scarf and his quirk disabling ability, he easily takes down multiple villains at once.

"We heard All Might was supposed to be here. Where is he, Eraserhead?" a random villain tried to punch the hero's torso, failing miserably.

'These guys must've infiltrated the school the other day, when the press was blocking the school entrance!'

Another villain, who looked far more intimidating, seemed disappointed. "If All Might's not here now, I wonder if he'll show up if we kill a few kids?"

Realization struck Aizawa at that moment. "THIRTEEN!" he shouted, "EVACUATE THE KIDS! YOU HAVE TO WARN THE SCHOOL!"

Up on the cliff where all of class 1-A was still standing, Thirteen conveyed the message as calmly as she could to the students.

"We have to leave!"

As they headed for the door, they were stopped by a massive amount of smoke the same colour as the portals the villains came through.

"Greetings, UA. I'm terribly sorry for the intrusion, but the League of Villains deemed it necessary for us to do this in order to take down All Might. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to make sure none of you escape and tell the others at your school about our plans," said a pair of glowing yellow eyes from within the smoke.

Bakugou and Kirishima tried to attack him, but to no avail. Instead, they and the rest of the class were teleported into different places around the USJ.
