Not until the blade appeared inches from her shoulder. Freya jerked her body backward, the edge missing her.

"Stay still, witch!"

'Fat chance!'

Ueno stabbed forward, and this time Freya caught her wrist, throwing Ueno over her shoulder like a bag. The headmistress' daughter never had a chance to react and neither Freya to think. At the edge of her mind, an old scene from anime she watched as a kid sprang up, and her body copied it.

However, Freya wasn't a fighter, and so she stepped back instead of delivering another blow.

"Now you've done it!" Ueno rolled on all fours, growling and snapping at her like a wild animal. She slashed with the knife so much, Freya got scared to come closer.

Ueno's gang fled in fear to get caught in this.

"What's wrong? Too scared?"

Freya clenched her teeth. 'I need to stop her.' Her eyes had fallen on her bag tossed in the grass. When Ueno slashed with her knife, Freya dashed under the swing.

"You won't run!" The words came out ragged as Ueno was losing her steam. Her arm slashed back, cutting through the air.

Freya felt the wind on her back, but she continued. As she gripped her bag, she tripped. Her body slid across the grass and turning on her back, she pushed the bag in front of her. The knife stabbed it.

Ueno yelped with frustration, and then pain as Freya kicked her in the stomach. The girl staggered back, never before experiencing physical pain. A mix of anger, hatred, and urge to maim helped her to stand up.

She lifted a stone. "Why you—!"

"Enough!"

Ueno's hand yanked back, and she turned around as something squeezed her wrist, wrestling out the primitive weapon.

"Let me go, you savage!" she yelled into Kagetsu's ear as she tried to break free.

"Freya-chan!" Aiyoku shouted, dashing past the struggling duo. "Are you alright?"

Rigaku followed a few, double-big steps behind, wishing he had a better physique. "Are you crazy, Ueno-san?" he said once his lungs stopped trying to explode.

The headmistress' daughter finally calmed down enough to understand who was around her. As if a switch flipped in her brain, her personality changed.

"Aiyoku-sama!" she moaned. "Help me! She had stolen my gift for you! She is a cunning witch! Nothing but a lie." Her voice dripped with sweet honey, Aiyoku got goosebumps.

Rigaku found the bag, and with a handkerchief, he pulled out the knife. "Did you attempt to stab Freya-chan?"

Ueno puckered her lips, providing no answer.

"You are rotten beyond belief!" Kagetsu barked.

"Stop holding me, you pervert!" Ueno tried to wriggle from his grasp, but he was too strong for her.

"Ka, let her go," Aiyoku said.

His brother gave him an arched eyebrow, but complied, glancing the bully's face lit up.

"My sweet Aiyoku-sama!" She moved to him, but she had frozen in the middle of the step.

The prince charming gave her dead stare, yet again proving he bested Rigaku in this term. "I didn't want to believe you are cruel, but I was indeed a fool."

Ueno's mouth opened and closed as if she turned into a fish on the dry ground.

"Freya-chan didn't steal anything from you. She is neither cunning nor a witch. Your lies don't work on me. I've seen too many girls like you."

'Could this be the reason...' Rigaku thought, frowning. 'Our father made us transfer school every year?' Sometimes it hurt leaving good friends behind, in another case he didn't care, and soon it became a part of their life.

Ueno's face shifted between frown and smile before she settled into knitted eyebrows. "Are you sure? The school can sometimes turn into hell without the right people beside you." She folded her arms under her busty chest.

"Threatening?"

"Just stating the reality. Without me, getting good results or recommendations is impossible. So come back. Be my little boy, and nothing will go wrong." Her face darkened, giving her sinister aura.

Kagetsu moved a bit back, giving her look over as if he expected tentacles or devil's wings to spurt from her body.
