*Virgil POV*

I'm bored. And sad. I don't have the motivation to do anything or even want to.

Roman's been so cold to me he might as well be an ice cube. I have no idea why, but I have a feeling it's related to his and Patton's fight.

"Hey Virge," Patton says, walking into the room.

"Hey," I say.

"Want to go outside somewhere? Explore the city?" Patton asks.

I shrug.

"I dunno," I say.

"C'mon, let's go! It'll be fun!" Patton says, "And you need to get outside anyway,"

"Fine," I say, getting up.

He's not wrong, I've hardly gone outside. I hardly do in the first place, but even less now.

Patton drags me by the arm out the door and outside. It's too sunny out for me, it hurts my eyes.

"Oh, brighten up!" Patton says.

I keep a scowl on my face. But I lighten up a bit, as Patton has that effect on me. I'm pretty sure he has that effect on everything.

*Logan POV*

I've been trying to ignore any and all emotions by figuratively burying myself in my work. It's the only thing that distracts me.

I'm so focused I don't register the knock on my door.

"Logan? Are you still studying?" I hear Roman ask.

He knocks again.

"Yes, what do you need?" I ask.

I go over and open the door.

"To make sure you're still alive, you look like you haven't left your room in days. You look like V- like a vampire," Roman says.

My eyes narrow at Roman's near slip.

"Well, I am not a fictional being, so yes, I am fine," I say.

"C'mon, let's get you outside," Roman says, grabbing my hand.

I only follow because physical health is important.

"Let's go to the park," Roman says.

"Fine," I say.

*Patton POV*

I half drag Virgil to the nearest park, just so he gets some outside time. I'm worried about him, he seems just so upset with everything.

"So," I say, "What do you want to do?"

Virgil shrugs.

"We could talk about something," I suggest.

Starting conversations is easier when the other person actually cooperates.

"What do you like best here?" I ask, "Any cool foods you've come across?"

"Yeah, kinda," Virgil says, "I've tried Jaffa Cakes,"

"Ooh! What are those like?" I ask.

Finally, he's talking!

We walk around the park for a while. I'm not looking in front of me and almost run into someone. Luckily, Virgil pulls me back. I look up and straighten my glasses, to see who I almost ran into.

"Well, hello Roman," I say.

"Patton," He nods.

I look at Virgil and Logan. They're staring daggers at each other.
