"Good job as usual, Tay" The teacher smiled at me after handing in the test papers. I looked at the paper and a perfect score was written in the paper.
"Perfect na naman Tay?" The guy from the back asked after peeking into my paper.
"Y-Yeah." I shyly answered Paul.
"Puro aral ka na lang siguro?" Lery teasingly asked out of the blue.
And here we go again, I'll be answering all their questions about my priorities and they would end up saying--
"Kaya wala kang jowa!" Nag-high five pa sila while chuckling after saying those remarks.
"Di ko naman need ng jowa right now. Mas marami pa ako need i-prioritize." I exclaimed.
"It's already time tara kain na tayo?" Pag-aaya nila papuntang canteen.
As soon as we went down the cafeteria, napansin namin na maraming students ngayon. We decided to go outside the university to grab our lunch. People would stare at me with respect and they would give their sweetest smile towards me.
"Kakaiba talaga 'tong tropa namin. Kaunti na lang talaga iisipin ko ng perfect ka kung may jowa ka lang eh." Pangangantiyaw ni Paul.
"Hoy wag mo ngang ginagago 'yang si 'Mr. Student Council President' kung ayaw mong mabash ng mga haters sa freedom wall mamaya." Sabi ni Lery sabay hampas sa likod ni Paul.
Pagkalabas namin ng cafeteria at ng university. Pumunta na kami sa kalapit na fast food chain para bumili ng food. After eating, we went straight to the library kasi may hihiramin akong libro para ipa-photocopy since need sa quiz tomorrow.
"Are you for real? Later? Okay, G!" Narinig kong may kausap si Lery habang nagpapa-photocopy ako ng libro.
"What is it?" I asked her.
"There will be an inuman session with the seniors, are you--" I immediately cut her.
"No! May quiz tayo tomorrow."
"Sige na Tay! Maaga naman tayong uuwi eh." And there you have it, nakisali na rin si Paul.
"7 PM uuwi na tayo." I said.
"8 PM huling tawad!" Bakit ba ang hirap nilang tanggihan.
"If hindi pa kayo umuwi by that time mauuna na ako. And please, wag niyo kong pag-aalagain sa inyong dalawa."I let out a sigh of disbelief after nila akong mapapayag.
We ended the class nang wala masyadong pinapaggawang homework or activities. It is very much unlikely pero at least wala na akong masyadong iisipin aside from reviewing those photocopied materials.
