Without You!

While walking,Shivaay says-

S: By the way,I am pretty angry on you!Annika was absent-minded so missed what he said.

A: Sorry...what?

S: I said,I am angry on you.I didn't like the way you came out alone in the darkness to meet me.You should understand that it's not safe at all..........What happened to you?Why are you shivering?

A: Can I plz hug you?

Before Shivaay even could react,Annika jumped into his arms.A surprised and clueless Shivaay wrapped his hands around his seemingly terrified wife.He asked while caressing her hairs-

S: What happened Annika?

A: I am....I am scared.

S: But why?

A: I don't know........She buries herself in Shivaay's embrace.He tries to figure out what's bothering her but fails as Annika refuses to share anything.

Later that night Annika lay sleepless beside Shivaay.She was overwhelmed by the revealing mystery of her dream.That meant Shivaay was meant to come in her life and.........She blushed thinking that!All of a sudden she felt the blurred vision got cleared and there was no metaphorical glass wall existing in between them.She could understand everything without least confusion.At the same time she felt an uncontrollable urge brewing in her heart.Like,it wanted to make her confess something very important,very special to Shivaay..............Soon she falls asleep while pondering on tonight's happening.The moment sleep touches her eyelids,she gets lost in the same recurring dream-

............Annika reaches near Shivaay who is playing on the flute.With a pounding heart,she keeps her hand on his shoulder.Flute playing stops then,without turning,he says-

S: Have been calling you out since long.Why did you keep me in waiting?Every second was so unbearable for me.Very cruel of you!

A: Forgive me plz.It won't be repeated..........She goes and sits next to Shivaay.Smiling,he starts on playing the flute.An intoxicating,heavenly tune fills the surrounding.When he stops,Annika asks-

What's it saying,your flute in tune?

S: It's saying- "Those moment you stay with me,I feel myself alive.Rest of the time is death of me,darkness fills my heart.Loving you only in one lifetime won't quench my  thrist........."

Annika smiles sweetly then says-

A: Why were you waiting for me?Shivaay cups her cheeks then says-

S: Wanted to meet you before I leave.

A: Leave?Where will you go and why?We have just met.You can't go anywhere.I won't let you go...........She grabs Shivaay's hands in a firm grip.He bends his head then kisses Annika's hand.

S: I must go Annika.

A: No,I won't let you go.You....You can't go..... Smiling Shivaay frees his hands out of Annika's grasp then slowly vanishes into the mist.She screams-

SHIVAAY..............Here Annika wakes up panting,drenched in cold sweat.She turns and finds Shivaay is sleeping next to her.She takes a deep breath of relief putting her hand over her chest.Then,she lies down hurriedly snuggling close to Shivaay while hiding her face in his warm embrace,to ease her fear.Even in sleep,Shivaay's hands come and secure around her knowing that,she needs him right away.

On the due date,Hridita's wedding got over with much mirth and happiness.Vasundhara came to attend the wedding with Sahil.That day was Hridita's reception and everyone returned Amravati covering a long journey.Being tired they went to bed early to sleep except Shivaay.....It's five minutes to twelve now.He opens his eyes then turn to the other side.Annika is sleeping peacefully.He goes into half-lying position while checking the time in his wrist watch.The moment it shows 12:00 am,leaning close to Annika,he wishes-
