"Arey Bela,Mahir. I should tell you something important", he said.

"What is it Vyom"?Mahir asked.

"I'm in loveeee", he said shocking both me and Mahir.

"Really? Who is that girl"?we both asked.

"The girl is surprise,but I will tell you soon", he said.

"Did you propose her"?Mahir asked.

"Yeah I did, and she accepted also", he said.

"Congrats Vyom",I said.

I'm really happy for him. Finally he too got a partner.

"Congrats buddy, you should tell me the whole story",Mahir said.

"We both will tell you together", he said.

"Offo..",we were hooting for him.

"OK I'm shy. Stop teasing me", he said.

We were laughing at his shyness.

"OK Mahir, I'm getting call from her. I will talk to you people later", he said and hanged up.

"I'm really happy for him",I said.

"Me too, finally he got someone",Mahir said.

"That feeling is only different actually",I said thinking about us.

"Yeah I know",Mahir said.

I got up and went to kitchen.

"Mahira,Mahir.. dinner time",I said setting the table.

Mahir came with Mahira and made her sit on her chair.

I served for him and I was feeding Mahira.She was looking sleepy, so she was eating fastly.

"Eat slowly baby",I said patting her back.

I too had my dinner and as expected Mahira was sleeping. She was tired.

Mahir made her sleep on her crib.

I was completing my work and saw Mahir coming from his study room.

He was looking really pissed off. Something is really wrong with him.

We both went to my room to sleep. I was checking on Mahira and Mahir was looking at me sitting on the couch.

"Mahir what's the matter"?I asked sitting beside him.

"I need to talk to you Bela", he said.

Now something is really serious. His voice was also looking like he is hurt.

"What is it Mahir"?I asked.

"Bela actually..I..I need to go to NY the day after only", he said.

My mouth felt dry. I was at loss of words.

I was opening my mouth like fish and closing it. I don't know what to say.

"Bela say something",Mahir said.

"What should I say Mahir"?I asked.

"Bela it was all of a sudden decision. I don't want to leave you and Mahira alone here. But I should go", he said with hurt filled voice.

"It's OK Mahir, you should go",I said looking at him.

Suddenly I started feeling empty,I don't know how these days will be.

"You are not angry on me"? he asked.

"No Mahir, I'm not. I'm just feeling sad",a sob escaped from me.

He sighed and hugged me.

I clutched him tightly as if my life is depending on him. It's actually depending on him.

"I will try to come soon Bela", he said.

"Will you miss Mahira's birthday"?I asked.

"No way,I will not miss her first birthday", he said looking at Mahira.

I came out of the hug and looked at him.

"I don't know how Mahira will be without you",I said.

"I know,it will be hard for her also. But it's just a matter of a week. I will be back before her birthday", he said.

We both went to bed. I was looking at him and a tear escaped from my eyes.

He saw me and closed his eyes in frustration.

"Come here", he said scooting me towards him.

His hand was under my head and I was sobbing on his chest.

"Just let it out Bela", he said caressing my hairs.

"I...I will... miss..miss you Mahir",I said sobbing.

"I will miss you too Bela", he said.

"I know it will be hard for us Bela. But we have to go through it just for one last time,after that no one can separate us", he said bringing me close to his face.

I nodded looking at him. He was also hurt. He pecked my cheek.

I guess he felt the warmth in my cheeks. I was red like a tomato.

"You blush a lot", he said smiling.

I smacked his chest and he was laughing. I could feel his body vibrating due to his laugh.

Yes. Just one last time we are going to be apart. I can't stay away from him more. I guess he is clear with his feelings towards me.

He kissed my forehead and we slept hugging each other.
