Kai:
"Mom..."

Kai's Mom gives him a hug.

Kai's Mom:
"Son, you have grown so much."
Kai:
"I haven't seen you since I was 7"
Kai's Mom:
"I'm so sorry. I really am. I hope you could forgive me."

Kai nods his head.

Miyeong:
"Ma'am, come inside. Have a seat."
Kai:
"How were you able to find her? I've been looking for her for so long."
Miyeong:
"Hajin is really good at finding phone numbers. She worked hard to find this one for me."
Kai:
"Why did you get my mom to come here?"
Miyeong:
"I'm really thankful for you. I thought I should do something in return."

Kai smiles.

Kai's Mom:
"Are you guys in a relationship?"
She laughs

Kai and Miyeong looked at each other shockingly.

Kai:
"Uh, just a business relationship."

Miyeong nods her head aggressively

Miyeong goes to the kitchen to get Kai's Mom a drink.

Kai and his mom keep talking.

Kai:
"How have you been? Have you found a new Boyfriend?."
Kai's Mom:
"I'm married now. You actually have a step sister."

Kai's eyes widen

Kai:
"I have a sister? How old is she?"
Kai's Mom:
"She's 18. She is in her last year of highschool right now."
Kai:
"I should meet her one day"
Kai's Mom:
"Yes definitely."

....

Kai's Mom:
"I was actually really scared that you didn't want to see me. I'm really embarassed. I did something horrible to you, but I didn't want you to go through the same thing I went through."
Kai:
"What even happened?"
Kai's Mom:
"Well, your father cheated on me. I asked for a divorce and he kept threatening me. So I ran away. He kept threatening me if I told anyone. He took away all my money I was broke. I couldn't take you with me. Then I met my now husband."
Kai:
"Mom, you should've gone to the police."
Kai's Mom:
"I couldn't, I was too scared."

Kai gives his mom a hug.

Kai:
"I'm sorry all of this happened to you."
Kai's Mom:
"Don't be sorry, I should be sorry."

Kai shakes his said Saying "no"

Miyeong comes in and brings them a drink.

Kai's Mom:
"Could you tell me your name again?"
Miyeong:
"Oh My name is Ahn Miyeong"
Kai's Mom:
"How did you both meet?"

Kai and Miyeong both laugh.

Miyeong:
"VERY long story."

Kai and  Miyeong take about 40 minutes trying to explain everything to Kai's mom

Kai's Mom:
"So you almost got MARRIED?! And you guys didn't know each other?!"
Miyeong:
"Yeah, we went through alot."
Kai's Mom:
"Looks like you guys have gotten along well. I mean. Your living in the same house."

Kai laughs nervously.

Kai:
"We sleep in Different rooms mom."

Kai's Mom Laughs.

Kai's Mom:
"Ok ok, sure."

She looks at the time.

Kai's Mom:
"I have a doctor's appointment soon, I have to head out."
Miyeong:
"Already?"
Kai's Mom:
"Sadly... Yes. Miyeong, I would like to thank you for reuniting me with my son after 20 years."
Miyeong:
"No problem. I just wanted thank your son for everything. So thank you for coming."

Miyeong gives Kai's Mom a hug.

Kai stands up, starts tearing up.

Kai:
"Please call me or text me if you ever need anything mom. Let's keep in touch."

Kai's Mom gives Kai a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Kai's Mom:
"I promise son."

Kai waves goodbye to his mom, and then she leaves.

Kai closes the door.

He slowly turns around to Miyeong.

A year rolls down his face.

Miyeong:
"Aww Kai!"

Miyeong walks over to Kai and wipes his tear.

Miyeong:
"Don't cry! Today is supposed to be a happy-"

Kai interrupted Miyeong and gives her a hug.

Kai never hugs first, Kai doesn't usually give hugs, whenever someone hugs him, he doesn't hug back.

Miyeong was obviously startled.
But she smiles and quickly hugs him back.

Miyeong:
"You finally hugged me back. This is rare."

Kai hugs tighter.

Kai:
"Thank you Miyeong."
Miyeong:
"No, thank you. You deserve so much more."
Kai:
"No, this was enough."

Miyeong grabs Kai's face and wipes off any tears.

Miyeong:
"I'm glad your happy now."

Kai smiles.

He feels his heart beat faster. He gets red.

He's still hugging Miyeong, maybe she can feel his heartbeat.

"Why is my heart beating like this"
kai thinks to himself

Kai looks down at Miyeong and sees her smiling.

"Should I?" He tells Himself
"Just do it" he tells Himself .

Kai grabs Miyeong's face and gives her a kiss..
