I get myself away from him and tried to look at his eyes but his gaze remained on Septimus. I stared at Louis in disbelief. How can he ruin a moment like this just to ask about that rude boy?

"Bakit mo tinatanong mo 'yan?" I asked him instead, clueless.

"Bakit hindi mo sagutin?" I was taken back by his answer, not expecting the attack from him.

I remained calm and compose myself. I'm about to speak when I saw the whole gang heading toward us, so I shut my mouth instead.

"Let's go love birds," Sevyn called.

"Magbabanlaw na tayo, gumagabi na!" Devon cheerfully said like he always do.

I look back at Louis and he's already standing, offering me his hand like he didn't ask me a stupid question. I sighed before I grab his hand.

Hindi na kami muling nakapag-usap pa ni Louis dahil pagkabalik namin sa hotel ay nagbanlaw na kami agad, nang matapos kaming magbanlaw ay tinawag na agad kami ni Enero para kumain nang sabay-sabay sa unit nila.

I tried to talk at Louis when we're about to eat but he just shush me down and said that we can talk about it later.

Enero and others didn't seem to notice that there's something wrong with me and Louis which is a good thing because they can't help.

They would just say stupid things that won't help and ask things that I don't want to answer and will eventually piss me off.

I don't have my appetite because Louis' question still hang in my head and I couldn't shut it down. Kaunti lang ang nakain ko at kahit gusto ko nang kausapin agad si Louis ay hindi ko magawa dahil nasa harap kami nila Enero.

I patiently waited until we go back to our own unit, but Kalawang is with us.

"Kalawang can you leave us here? This will be quick." Kalawang look at me with wide eyes like I say something wrong.

"Anong gagawin niyo?" gulat niyang sabi at tinuro pa kaming dalawa ni Louis. Puro kalokohan talaga.

"Kailangan lang namin mag-usap," I said again but Kalawang's still not moving. He must be thinking of something stupid so I cut it off.

"This is important, please?" I gave him a pleading look until he sigh and give up.

"Okay," he said before he made his way out. Nang masiguro kong wala na siya ay mabilis kong nilock ang pinto at tumingin kay Louis.

"What is it?" I asked him. Tumingin siya sa'kin habang nakaupo pa rin sa kama niya. Lumapit ako sa kanya at umupo sa tabi niya.

A tear escape from his eyes. For a second, I saw the pain in his eyes, the tiredness, all of the emotion that he kept. He look so hurt. I don't know what to do when I saw him crying so I just hug him and ask him again.

"Louis, may problema ba?" he keeps on shaking his head and pull me closer to him, hugging me so tight.

"I'm leaving Patience," he said, almost a whisper. Mabilis akong kumalas sa yakap niya at tinignan siya.

"Ha? Hindi kita maintindihan Louis, saan ka pupunta?"

"I'm going back to U.S. binibini,"

"Why?" my voice cracked. It sounds like a whisper, almost nothing. I don't want to ask him why he's going to us, I wanted to ask him why is he crying.

"I need to be there, my dad needs me." hinawakan ko ang kamay niya matapos kong marinig ang sinabi niya.

"Then go, I can wait. Babalik ka naman diba?" I held his hands tighter, waiting for him to held my hand back but he didn't.
