Inis kong sinarado ang libro na hawak ko. Hindi ko alam kung ilang minuto akong nakatitig sa cover page ng libro with Spike's name on it. I get off from my swivel chair and went to my brother's office.
He was surprise to see me because I never went to his office nor to Enero's office.
I throw his book in his table and crossed my arms over my chest. He look at me with his brows furrowed, picking up his book.
"What the is hell is that?" inis kong sabi sa kanya.
Nangangalahati pa lang ako ng basa sa libro niya pero parang ayoko nang tapusin. Nakakairita ang mga sinulat niya, nakakainis!
"Why?" I asked me confusedly. Having no idea why I barge in to his office and was annoyed like hell. I don't even know why I'm annoyed at all.
"That's not what happened!" I almost yell at him. Pinipigilan ko lang ang sarili ko dahil maririnig kami ng mga empleyado namin.
I saw him smirk and get off from his chair. He get his book and put it back in his shelf.
"Its fiction Pasensya, ano bang ikinagagalit mo?" natatawa niyang tanong sa'kin.
And he has the audacity to laugh at me after he use my fucking name! Pumayag ako na gamitin niya ang pangalan ko dahil hindi ko naman alam na... aish nakakainis talaga!
I heard the door opened kaya naman napaligon kaming dalawa ni Spike doon.
"What's happening in here?" Enero asked before he went in.
Nakapamaweng siya sa'ming dalawa ni Spike, inirapan ko lang siya at ibinalik ang tingin sa kapatid namin.
"I don't know how come that your book has been published!"
I heard them laugh at me. Magsama silang dalawa, mga leche!
Mula noon hanggang ngayon, they always have each other's back. Psh.
"Oh, so you read the book?" Enero sounded amazed by the idea. Anong nakaka-amaze don?!
"Enero is the CEO remember?" Spike tease me more, gusto ko siyang batuhin ng heels na suot ko sa sobrang inis na nararamdaman ko!
He'a such an asshole!
"I let you use my name Spike for pete's sake!" frustrated kong sabi.
I didn't even know why I am frustrated like this. His story sucks! Or was it sucks because he use my name as the protagonist in his book?
"Its only fiction my dear sis. Besides, ginamit niya lang naman ang pangalan mo and not necessarily means that it is your story." I stared at Enero, he's unbelievable!
Not my story? But Louis name is in the book too! It is almost my story but the thing is we didn't end up together!
"We didn't end up together and that's the thing!" I remained composed but I really wanted to shout at them! Nagkampihan na naman silang dalawa!
"That's why it is only fiction!" Spike said, smirking at me before he sit at the edge of his table.
"What if my girlfriend na siya?! Nakakahiya!" I almost do a tantrums in front of them.
Nakakainis talaga!!! I didn't even remember how the hell I let him use my name! Kung alam ko lang, hindi na sana!
Paano kung may girlfriend na pala yung tao? Paano kung mabasa niya yon? Omygosh, the idea of it makes me sick!
"Is that your way to know if he has a girlfriend?" Enero teased me, pinanliitan ko siya ng mata. Seriously?
Do I look like I'm playing around here? What the hell!
"Ewan ko sa inyo!" I said and made my way to the door. I look back at Spike, "Your story sucks," I said before getting out from his office.
Inis akong bumalik sa office ko at binagsak ang katawan ko sa couch.
What the hell is happening to me?
Why am I even affected by a single novel that my brother wrote using my name and his name?
Since I wasn't in my mood to stay in my office, I went to Louis' office instead.
He's not surprise to see me barge in his office since I always do that everytime Enero and Spike pissed me off.
"Don't you read your emails?" bungad niya sa'kin nang maupo ako sa couch niya.
He's busy on his computer and wasn't bother by my presence.
Napatingin ako sa kanya at tinaasan siya ng kilay. I haven't open my emails yet since I'm busy reading Spike's book and I ended up being disappointed!
Saglit niya akong tinapunan ng tingin bago ibalik ang mata sa computer niya.
"We have a new client coming today at 1 pm." agad akong napatingin sa wall clock niya.
It's 11:30 am and I still have time to eat.
"Have you eat?" I asked him before I get off from the couch. I saw him smirk at me before he turn off his computer.
"Just say if you're asking me for a date." he joked.
"Shut up,"
We went to the nearest restaurant and he ordered something for us.
When our food arrived, we eat silently. Enjoying our meal for today. When I'm done, I asked him.
"Who's the new client?" he look at me and continue on eating his food.
"He will be here by 1 pm." he answered, but that didn't answered my question.
"Interior design?" I asked again, eager to know if I know who my next client is.
"Yes," he answered back.
He didn't talk after that so I guess he didn't want to spoil me by saying who is my next client.
We patiently waited until it's 1 pm. While waiting, I open my emails and read some of it. There were messages from Indigo and Devon too.
I heard Sevyn will come home next week and we are all excited for that because after 3 years, mabubuo na ulit kami.
"Its a pleasure to see you again," Louis said and get off from his chair to greet someone and I think its our new client.
I off my phone and get off from my chair too.
"Its nice to have—" I couldn't continue what I'm going to say when I saw his face.
After five years, I met him again. Septimus Faust, my first love is right across me.
