Macey laughed. Yung may halong kilig. "I have a date..." Macey giggled. Nahampas nito ang hawak na folder sa lamesa.

She wasn't shock. Inaasahan na niya 'yon. Inaantay niya nga lang e. It took them too long before they dated. Napagtripan na niya ang dalawa lahat lahat pero ang tagal.

Ang babagal!

She planned not to tell Macey's appointment to Rome, three weeks ago. Gusto niyang gulatin ito para hindi makapag-paalam kay Jaxon. She planned on not telling him, kasama na 'ron ang mga kaibigan ni Macey. She planned everything. She knows Jaxon will track Macey in just a snap of finger so she moved a little bit.

Macey didn't know that.

Pero mukhang maayos naman ang kinalabasan ng ginawa niya. She witnessed how Jaxon gone crazy just to look for her. The Mondaragon's hospital was traumatic for Jaxon but he was here everyday just to check if Macey's around for the entire week.

Hindi lang nito alam kung ga'no sumakit ang tiyan niya kakatawa nang buong lingo na 'yon.

"Tapos nag-duty ka pa ngayon?" Chin asked.

Macey stilled. "Malay ko ba...kinakabahan 'rin kasi ako..."

Kumunot ang noo niya. "Why?"

"Arrow gave me limited time. I only have less than 24 hours today...may date pa kami..." sagot nito at biglang nawala ang ngiti nito at ang excitement sa mukha. All she saw all of sudden was fear.

Napayukom ang kamao niya. "Do it before you prepare for your date..."

Macey nodded. "I'll check on our patients first."

She plastered a reassuring smile before she stands up. Inayo niya ang suot na uniform. "Chismisan mo ako soon. Malapit na 'rin ang anniversary ng hospital mo."

Macey just smiled back at her before she left. Napabuntong hininga siya. Napakapa siya sa cellphone niya nangmag-vibrate ang phone niya.

There's a text message that made her thrilled.

I need back up on this. Later.

She replied 'sure' before walking towards her office. Darcy was already there.

"Babe, ikaw muna." Aniya nang makapasok sila loob ng opisina niya.

Darcy let out a lop-sided smile. "Sure, babe...good luck."

MACEY's excitement is being divided into fear. She wanted to focus on their date for today. Jaxon didn't actually say yes, but his smile was enough for her. Kung ayaw naman nito ay sisimangutan siya nito. Jaxon's emotions and expressions were really transparent for her so she can easily decipher him.

He wouldn't smile if he doesn't like it.

And even his from has different kinds. Frown na nagpapakipot, galit, or sadyang trip lang nitong simangutan siya.

She sighed and fixed her things before going back to her unit. She wanted to finish this as soon as possible. She badly wanted to focus on their date. She wanted to go to spa, salon, and buy a new dress. Ni wala pa nga silang napag-usapang lugar. Arrow suddenly came into view, and the moment Jaxon saw Arrow, he immediately left.
