Chapter 28

"What are you doing here Finn?" I say angrily and hurt flashes across his face
"I'm here to keep an eye on the heir, if she goes, we are screwed when Raven dies" He says matter of factly and I clench my fists
"I'm NOT going to be your heir and I hope you all rot in hell especially your father" I spit and turn to walk away but he grabs my arm and pulls me back
"Since when did you get like this?" He says softly and his brow furrows in concern
"Since I realised that no one in this world actually cares about me" I say bitterly and pull my arm free, and start to walk off before turning around again
"How did you even get here so quickly?" I spit and he smirks
"We have... Connections in the palace" He says slyly and I roll my eyes before walking off. I return to my room which I seen has been cleaned from top to bottom and it smells of window polish, I walk out onto the balcony and sit with my back against the brick wall and my legs crossed and I breathe slowly to try and calm myself and work out this situation. All I am really sure about is the fact that I should not be here and I should leave, I put my head in my hands and think about Alex. I'm not going to tell him about Mom, it would break him and all I can think about is how I want him here to comfort me and tell me that everything is going to be okay even though I know it isn't...
