4 Years Later
Lily's POV

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Papa yelled, his yellow messy bun shaking slightly. I giggled at his antics. He was the only one to make me giggle. A mix of a snort and a weird inhale.

My parents dressed me up as a witch for Halloween one year as a joke because of it. We laugh about it now but I think I cried after I found out.

"Thank you, papa," I sweetly said. Before Dad came over to pat my head. "Thank you, Dad."

Both smiled as they each handed me their gifts. They had a thing where each one would give me a present, and then take me to see my aunties and uncles who would spoil me endlessly.

"When are we going to see auntie Nemi? And uncle Nezu?" Papa and Dad look at each other, and papa smiles wider.

"Right now little listener!" He says while throwing himself into a pose. I squeal in excitement. I loved uncle Nezu and auntie Nemi, they take care of me a lot. So naturally, I had grown to love them both.

We get into the car and soon drive into U.A. papa driving like a madman. It was my birthday today though. It was also the year that my quirk would likely appear, and that couldn't excite him anymore.

We make it to U.A. in record time, it was a school day but papa and dad took the day off for me like they do every year. That meant auntie was probably teaching right now, so I would see uncle Nezu first.

We walk to his office and open the door, revealing the mouse-like creature of my uncle. "Uncle Nezu!" I laugh and he sees me.

He opens his arms for me and I accept the hug. He was so fluffy but could be scary when he wanted.

All in a day for a pro hero!

Dad shakes hands with him before asking for me back. I loved my Dad, he was just really quiet with everybody. Even me, which I didn't mind because all we like to do together is sleep and cuddle.

"Can we go shopping after we see auntie Nemi?" I smile up to papa, thank god I got my papas genes for a smile. Dad doesn't know how to smile without looking like a creep.

It was always funny when he did try though.

"Yes!!" I hear a scream from the doorway, I look over to see auntie Nemi in her hero costume smiling like a... well... like me.

"Are you gonna come, auntie?!" She nods excitedly.

"Yes! Always! This will be my present to you. You've never asked to go shopping before!" I yawned. But smiled nonetheless. "We're going to have some girl's time!" My eyes light up at the idea.

"Yay!" I said happily before turning on my dad's. "That means neither of you. Just me and auntie!" Dad just rolls his eyes and Papa gives a dramatic show of hurt.

Running to Nemi I hold onto her so that she'll pick me up. When she does she gives all the boys a peace sign before taking me toward her classroom.

She opens the door and I see lots of kids, most 15 but very few 16. Most don't notice me right away but eventually one of the kids with an extra finger quirk notices me. Alerting his class of Nemi and me.

She smiles when they all settle down, looking to her for an explanation of who I was. Some I recognized from Dad's class, though I doubted that they knew who I was.

"Alright, everyone! This is Lily. My niece!" Shouts and questions erupt from the class, though I yawn and snuggle into Nemi. I was familiar to the level of noise.

"Does that mean she's related to you?" I hear one student ask.

Nemi gives a hearty laugh, "No she's not related to me, but I expect you to treat her nicely, today's her birthday!" Questions again erupt.

"Who's she related to?!"

Again another personal question, couldn't they just not ask them? They are annoying me.

"That's too personal!" She scolds the girl, and I yawn again. Wanting to take a nap.

I lift my head to glare at the one who'd asked the question. It was a girl with light blue hair and navy eyes, who was raising her hand like she was gonna use her quirk. I glare even harder, feeling little sections of my hair rise. As if on instinct, I don't close my eyes and when she goes to use her quirk she quickly pulls her hand back in surprise. It hadn't worked.

I blink and sigh, relieved, before yawning again and leaning my head against Nemi's shoulder. Closing my eyes hurt "like a butt cheek on a stick" as Papa said before.

Little did I know that I had just used my quirk for the first time. The questions ended after that and auntie Nemi brought me back to Papa and Dad before I fell asleep.

"I got to see her use her quirk first! Ha!"

"Really?! What happened?"

"One of the girls in my class, the one with a water quirk was about to shoot at me, and she used your quirk Aizawa!"

"Well, now we know which one she was going to inherit,"

"Bring her back later so we can go shopping! Bye Bitches!"

"Hey! Don't use that kind of language around her! You don't know if she's fully asleep or not!"

Later

Soon after the school day was done I woke up, my eyes feeling better than they had a while ago.

I was in my bed wrapped in layers and layers of fluffy blankets. My eyes stung, as if dried out by salt. "Dad?" I called for my raven-haired father.

He entered my room, and I pouted. "My eyes hurt." I complained, and he only smiled lightly, before leaving and coming back with a little glass bottle.

Eye drops. Or "heaven in a bottle" as I would later call it.

I looked at the bottle and he unscrewed it, telling me to lean my head back and keep my eyes open. I did as I was told and he dropped a bit in each of my eyes, reliving the serious dry eye that I had come to know. I smiled afterward and said thank you.

I was gonna have to get used to using the eye drops.
