After the attack they were forced to make a decision, to go back to their lives or to fight for a new one. Ofcourse, Erik and Charles agreed to train the young mutants to be able to fight Shaw's group. They were indeed very powerful individually. After concluding the fact that they are no longer safe with the CIA, Charles lended the Xavier Mansion to the group, so that they have a place to stay and a place to train.
The group looking at the giant stone mansion, with gaping mouths and shocked expressions.
"Honestly Charles, I don't know how you survived, living in such hardship." Erik spoke sarcastically to the telepath.

[Y/N] showed the group their rooms that they'll stay in. Since the mansion did have a lot of rooms to spare, like a lot.
"So uh, this is your room." [Y/N] pointed to a wooden door to Alex. [Y/N] opened the door and a wide eye expression caught both of them when they find out that it was unsuitable to be a bedroom. Then he remembered why it was like this, it was the room he blew up. [Y/N] let out a frustrated groan.
"I forgot, this was the room I blew up back then." The other male turned to him, amused. "You blew up this room? Why is still so messy then?" He asks.
"Charles did not want it to be rennovated, he says it's to remind me not to lose control again or I'll blow up the entire mansion."
"So, where do I sleep?" [Y/N] thought for a moment. He also did not know. "I'll ring up, Charles. Maybe he knows an extra bedroom around."
'Sadly [Y/N] no bedrooms are vacant anymore. I'm quite sorry Alex, but [Y/N] did have an extra bed on his room if that's okay with you.' Charles spoke to them telepathically. Both of them looking shocked.
"Uh-" He was wordless at the moment. He can't think of any word to safe himself.
"Thats fine by me." Alex smiled at [Y/N] gaining him a 'are you sure?' look.
Moments later, [Y/N] led Alex to old room, finding 2 light blue twin beds in them. "So, here's my room sorry if it's a little dusty and messy, hadn't been here for such a long time." He explained to Alex who is eyeing the room. It was a rather large room and it had a large wardrobe on it's right side, nightstands besides the beds, a window between the 2 beds, and it's own bathroom.
"It's actually me and Raven's room, but she moved out after 3 years of sharing a room with me. I was salty though, so I kept it." [Y/N] smiled at the memory slightly laughing at the statement.
"You can choose whatever bed you want." He said pointing at the either beds.
"Which one's your bed?" The blonde asked curiously.
"Uhm, the right." He gestured to the right twin bed.
"That's mine then." Alex dropped off his bags then jumped to the bed, back first.
They both shared a laugh for a moment. "Really?" Alex can be so silly sometime, he thought.
"We better settle in, training starts tomorrow." [Y/N] said, gaining a nod to the other male. He got up and started unpacking.
Later on, Charles knocked on their door. [Y/N] opened the door seeing Charles with clothes on his hands.
"Hey you two, how are you settling in?" He chimed almost teasingly.
"We are doing fine, thank you very much Charles." His younger brother, shotting him a look of 'You set me up, did you?'.
"Oh, nice to know that." Charles smiled.
"And you Alex? You doing good?" He turned to the other boy, laying on the bed.
"Yes, I am quite comfortable here. Thanks for letting us crash." The blonde smiled.
"Oh no problem, anyways, I just brought your training gear for tomorrow." He handed the two pairs of gray hoodies and trackshirt to the boys. "Thanks Charles." [Y/N] accepted the clothings.
"If there's anything more you need Alex, don't afraid to ask.. but just direct it at [Y/N] I'm sure he can assist you." [Y/N] shot him a look but Charles just smiled at him teasingly, again. Alex nodded and appreciated the gesture.
"Charles. A word." [Y/N] handed the clothings to his new roomie and pushed Charles with one hand closing the door as they exit.
"I thought we made an agreement for you not to read my mind?" [Y/N] asked very quietly but still has a trace of anger.
"Oh [Y/N] dear, I did not. I just knew." Charles smirked and [Y/N] blushed very hard. "You should be thanking me, really."
The other male crossed his arms and huffed out. "You set me up? How did you even know?" Charles chuckled a little. "I know my brother very well, and let me say he might just feel the same. So, bond with each other." He patted his shoulder lightly and left a [Y/N] confused and blushing, hard.

That night though, [Y/N] can't seem to sleep. Although, it was really strange for him. He should be getting sleep, this is his old room afterall. But he was just staring at Alex who is very much asleep. Sleeping on his old bed, and facing his direction. He had been close with him for the past few days they'd known each other, and apparently, Charles caught up with it, powers or no power. He just hoped his sister Raven will not see the signs. She will non stop tease him with Alex and it might ruin his chances, if he ever did have a chance.
He sighed quietly and decided he needs a glass of milk or two. Those always worked on him, even when he is grown up. He sneaked up to bed and quietly exit the room, giving his rommate one last glance.
Once he fully exited the room he travels to the hallways down to their main kitchen. He got a glass and pulled out a carton of milk from the fridge.
"Milk? really?" He jumped from a sound behind him.
"Jesus, Erik. Can you not just sneak on people?" He looked at Erik who seemed to can't sleep either and holding a glass of what it seems like beer.
He poured milk to his glass, Erik still eyeing him weirdly as ever. And chugging it all in one go.
"What?" He innocently ask Erik.
"There's something stronger than.. milk, if you want." He contemplated if he is making fun of him or what.
"No thanks, milk usually does the trick." Erik huffed, "What are you doing so late?" [Y/N] put the carton back to the fridge.
"Can't sleep. You?" Erik took a swig from his glass.
"Roughly the same." He eyed Erik, studying him.
"You and Charles seem close." He blurted.
"Yeah, I supossed." The german replied.
"It is rare for him having such a connection to someone he just met, and for one that ran away the night after he took you in. Let's just say I still don't trust you." And it was true, he had doubts about him. But Charles trusted him and he must respect that.
"I never said you have to trust me." Erik calmly says.
"Yes, you didn't. I just hope that.. you won't hurt him. Anyways, I am tired I want to sleep now." [Y/N] left the glass on the sink and passed Erik to exit the kitchen. Leaving him again in the dark.
'I hope I won't hurt him too.' Erik thought to himself, for he saw something different in Charles. He saw a glimpse of light he never thought he will see ever again. Hope.
