7 || Are You Stalking Me?

Maddie's POV

I woke up ten minutes earlier than normal so I could try and avoid Brad. I woke up, got dressed into my school uniform put my blonde hair into a bun and put a little bit of make up, put all of my stuff into my school bag and plugged my headphones into my phone and ran down stairs

"Darling are you having breakfast?" My mum shouted

I checked the time 7:45 Brad should be here in 5 or 10 minutes

"I'll get something at school" I lied to be honest I feel sick

"Ok your lunch is on the sofa"

"Ok" I picked it up and put it in my bag "bye mum"

"Bye" she shouted

I looked to the house opposite to see Brad in his living room window with a bag over his shoulder but luckily facing the other way, he looked like he was about to leave

I ran down my road and went a different way than the way me and Brad normally walk. I found a bin and threw my lunch in there, I know it's a waste but I feel sick even looking as it. I started walking in time with my music which was all time lows album Don't panic. Before I knew it I was waiting at the usual spot for Daisy still listening away to my music

"MADDIE" I heard someone shout

It must be Daisy

I turned to the direction of the voice to see someone I wasn't expecting

Brad

I turned around pretending I didn't see him and stared at my phone pretending I was texting someone

"Maddie I've been looking for you" I heard the voice get closer

"Are you actually kidding me do you want me to get beat up again" I sighed and crossed the road and headed to Daisy's house

I soon saw her walking down the road

"Maddie your early how come?" She asked

I can't tell her I normally walk with Brad

"I woke up earlier that's all" I shrugged

"So how are you?" She asked

"I'm fine"

I really wasn't

"Anyway looking forward to the last day of school?" She asked

Yes it is the last day of school since it's Christmas Break

"Well yeah it's a half day" I smiled

"Can you come round mine later?" She asked

I can't mum would start worrying where I am

No I can't text her because she doesn't have a phone since we can't afford it

"I would love to but I'm seeing my... Cousins sorry" I lied

"It's fine"

We reached school and we walked into form and sat down, I didn't even look over to the corner with Brad and I sat so my back was facing him but I couldn't help but wonder is he looking over at me

My questions were soon answered

"Maddie just in case you were wondering he's staring again" Daisy said

When she said 'he' I knew she meant Brad

"I don't give two" I paused "I'm never talking to him again"

The school day went really fast since it was a half day and luckily for me Brad didn't do his science homework so he had to stay 10 minutes after school

I told Daisy that we needed to walk fast otherwise I'd be late to my cousins but the real reason is that I didn't want to see Brad

We reached the end of the road and Daisy had to leave since she went the other way

I said goodbye and told her to have a good Christmas and left

I plugged my headphones in and started listening to Ed sheeran new album X

When I finally reached home my mum wasn't home since she finishes work at 2:30 and it's 1:53 an hour and a half with my house all to my self

I searched my bag for my keys as I struggled to find them, they must be in my pocket. I checked my blazer pockets but no keys

Crap. I remember now I left them on my bed

I sat on my doorstep staring at my shoes whilst thinking and listening to music

"Maddie?" A voice asked

I looked up to see him again

"Are you stalking me or something?" I sighed

"Maybe I am" Brad smirked as I looked at him disgusted
