Maddies POV
I walked into my form room clinging my books for the next to lessons to my chest and my eyes searched the room until I saw Lola sitting in the corner talking to some people who are in our form. I walked over to her and she soon saw me walking over and her smile widened and sent the people she was talking to away.
"Thank god your here I nearly thought you weren't gonna come in and I'd have to hang around with daisy all day" she rolled her eyes and laughed as I laughed a little
I sat down in the seat next to her
"Sorry I'm late I just forgot my French book so I had to go back home" I sighed
"So you didn't walk with Brad?" She whispered looking in his direction
"I did until I realised I forgot my book so I had to go back and I made Brad walk on" I shrugged
"Oh that's why he was here before you okay I understand"

I walked into my chemistry class room to see a new seating plan on the board. I searched for my name until I found where I was sitting. I turned my head to my seat to see James McVey sitting next to the one I wanted. I looked back at the bored to see his name next to mine. I sighed and walked over to my table. My books slammed on the table which scared James a little which made my smile grow on my face as I sat down in my seat
"You scared me" he said shocked
"I can see that"
"Oh someone's very sassy today" he leaned forward onto his elbows which were resting on the table "what's happened with Brad" he pretended to sulk
"Nothing" I said turning my head sharply to look at him "why?"
"Oh just that song he wrote about you it was beautiful but you ran out before you could hear it" he sulked again
My body slid down my chair to put me in a very relaxed position as I crossed my arms
"Oh I'm sorry are you just jealous Brad hadn't written a song about you" I sulked as he laughed a little "don't worry your time will come one day"
"Your funny you know" he continued laughing
"Why thank you"
"I'm glad Brad picked you" he smiled
"He hasn't picked me actually we are just friends"
"Of course you are" he smirked
"Do you know your annoying"
"What would Brad say if he heard you saying bad stuff about his best friend" he sulked again
"He'd probably laugh actually"

"And he kept going on about what would Brad do" I shouted at Lola who was walking next to me on our way home "he pisses me off so much and I have to sit there for the whole term apparently"
"I feel for you so much" lola sighed
"Well I'll see you tomorrow" I hugged her before she crossed the road to head over to the train which she gets home
"Bye text me if anything happens with Brad on the way home" she said pointing behind me
I looked behind to see a very familiar figure who was waving. I waved back
"Will do bye" I turned to Lola
I watched her walk away until someone grabbed my shoulders from behind which scared me. My first instinct was to step away from who ever was grabbing me so I stepped behind and turned my head just to see it was Brad and I sighed with relief
"Watch out" he screamed as a car came zooming down the road I was currently standing in from stepping back
I felt the hands which were on my shoulder slide down to my waist which pulled my back onto the pathway. I looked up to see Brads chestnut eyes looking down at me. I then looked at the gap between us, which was non existent. Our body's were touched and I couldn't tell if I liked it or not
"Thanks" I smiled
"It's okay" he smiled back as he loosened his grip on my waist so we could start walking
"So how was school?" He asked
I sighed
"Well I got moved next to James in chemistry and he pisses me off so much"
Brad just started laughing
