Maddies POV
English was finally over
Me and Lola walked out of class quickly before Thomas could catch her but we were too slow
"Lola we need to talk" He said grabbing hold of her arm
"Go away Tom" She shouted as she struggled to get out of his grip
"please Lola"
finally she got out of his grip and grabbed my hand and started running
"Lola where are we going?" I asked while we were running
"I don't know!" she shouted "wheres the field?"
"follow me"
when we finally got to the field we sat down where daisy was and started laughing
"what?" Daisy asked confused
"Don't worry you wont get it" I laughed
"Maddie Tom is coming this way" Lola said
"Just hear him out"
"Fine"
"Lola I don't understand what I've done wrong" Tom said as he walked over
"Its just awkward"
"But would it be awkward if I asked you out again?" he asked
"That is really sweet but I don't know give me time to think"
"Fine" and with that he was gone
"you used to date him?" Daisy asked
"yeah. Anyway Maddie what do i do?"
"Maybe give him a chance and you could get to know him in person this time" I shrugged
"Your right! Thanks Mads I will tell him tomorrow" she paused "Do we have English tomorrow?"
"I'm not sure. Do we have English tomorrow Daisy?" I asked
"I think so"
"Cool thanks" she paused "Maddie give me your number so I can text you tonight"
"um sure" I wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to her
The Next Day
"Heyyy" Lola said as soon as she saw me and Daisy walk into form room
"Hey" I said as she hugged me
"Do you wanna hear the gossip?" Lola asked
"Yes!" I shouted
"Well Tom asked me again last night over text and I said yes"
"You go girl"
"Ew no one says that" she laughed as I laughed a long
"New Girl" someone shouted as they opened our form door
It was one of the popular girls Kelly in our year
"Me?" Lola asked
It all went quite in the classroom
"Yeah you! Are you dating Thomas Ellis?" Kelly asked
"Um yeah"
Then everyone started talking about it
I looked around to see Brad staring at me and then he turned away
"Nice" Kelly said walking over to her with a couple of other popular people
"Have you dated him before?" One of them asked
"Um yeah"
"What's your name?" Kelly asked
"Lola"
"You should come hang out with us some time"
"That would be so cool" Lola said getting all excited
Great I only just got her back and I'm going to lose her
"But only if my friend Maddie can hang too" Lola said
"Lola you don't have to" I said
"No you want me you have to have Maddie as well" Lola spoke up
"Fine but we are gonna have to fix her up" Kelly said looking down at me
"I'll do it for you instead" Lola said
"Fine" Kelly paused "we will see you tomorrow then"
"Were at" Lola asked
"Find Tom tomorrow at lunch and he will show you" Kelly said before they all walked off
"They seem nice" Lola shrugged
"Yeah" I smiled
I turned around to see Daisy sitting by her self
"Come on Maddie I need to fix my hair before Sir comes" Lola said basically dragging me out the door
