What if?

Nico gets desperate

"So what goes on in this reality?"

"You get to chose young hero,"

"Oh, okay then," Percy thought. "Well, I know nico had a crush on me, but he's over it now. I wonder what would've happened if he never got over me and became some sort of maniac and would do desperate and terrible things,"

As his vision changed to camp half blood, Percy silently cursed himself.

Annabeth walked over to him, smiling like normal. Percy looked around, trying to figure out what day the fates had sent me to.

The waves crashed softly, a pattern Percy remembered as the day nico told him he had a crush on the demigod.

The day wore on, everything repeating itself like normal except for the fact that nico never came and never told Percy.

'Wait, what am I supposed to do now?' Percy asked the fates in his head.

'We can bring you to the present, where you wake up from your coma,'

'Okay?'

The fates transported him to his present turned future in the different reality.

Percy groggy sat up, the world spinning. He noticed Annabeth was there and smiled at her, although he saw three.

"Hey seaweed brain,"

"Hey wise girl," percy said, his vision clearing a bit, "how long was I out?"

"Two months," Annabeth said.

"Well then, I guess I have some catching up to do," Percy kisses his girlfriend.

"Where's nico? He wanted to meet me before the—you know, coma,"

"He's in the hades cabin. I'll take you if you want,"

"Thanks Annabeth. Although nicos been acting a bit strange. Most likely nothing though,"

"Yeah. He's been really worried about you though, he's in here almost as much as I am," Annabeth laughed.

Percy joined her and together the two walked to the hades cabin.

"Want me to go in there with you?" The blond asked.

Percy shrugged, "I mean, you can. I don't need it though. Besides, you most likely have to go help some campers,"

Annabeth smiles. "Yeah. See you later Percy,"

"See you late Annabeth!" Percy called as he knocked on the door to the hades cabin.

Nico answered the door, gesturing Percy inside. "You wanted to see me, before I went into the coma,"

The son of hades nodded. "Yeah. You see, I never really told you but I kind of have a crush on you,"

Percy looked surprised and flustered, "well, I mean, I'm flattered and all, but I love Annabeth. I love you, but just as a friend, a brother basically,"

"Thought so," Nico said. "Good thing I had a few favors,"

"Okay?" Percy laughed, although he was very confused.
