"He has a what!?" Izzy shrieks the next morning when I tell her why I'm still in bed at 1pm.

Immature of me, right?

I swallow another scoop of my ice cream. "He has a girlfriend." I laugh "Thank god I didn't get to finish my sentence before she got there, that would have been embarrassing."

Isabella lifts the covers and gets in beside me. "Now we can be heartbroken together." She opens a chocolate bar and scoffs it down.

"I'm not heartbroken." I mutter, because truly I'm not. "I just don't like blondie."

"Blondie?" She laughs. "And I'm not heartbroken either but let's be real here neither of us are ones to sleep around, now where are we gonna get some?"

I laugh. "I wish you weren't leaving tonight."

"Me too Livvy, especially now after everything." She sighs. "But if I miss anymore coursework I'll probably be kicked out."

"So what'll we do for your last day? You wanna go out or stay in?"

Izzy shrugs. "I said bye to the girls last night so we could spend time together. We could go to the beach?"

I nod and sit up in my bed. "Let's get ready."

Half an hour later both Isabella and I are ready for our beach day. Izzy has gone for a wine coloured bandeau bikini, with her hair in a sleek bun.

I've opted for a nude bikini and I've left my hair down, mainly because it covered the few scars that the bikini wasn't covering

I've opted for a nude bikini and I've left my hair down, mainly because it covered the few scars that the bikini wasn't covering. Izzy has already questioned me about said scars but I pretended not to hear her and thankfully she dropped it. I paired it with some sunglasses and both of us have opted for no makeup.

"Ok but why is even the beach way nicer than New York?" Izzy laughs as she lays her towel neatly down on the sand

I grin. "Maybe I can persuade you to move here after college."

"Not much persuasion needed there babes."

I smile, a genuine smile. Moping over almost embarrassing myself last night is stupid, so Theo has a girlfriend, it's not like anything more than one night could have happened between us. We're partners, it's best we keep it professional.
