"Mutant and proud." Teasingly repeated Amy's quote from earlier.

"Or is that only for pretty mutations or an invisible ones, like the both of you." She argues to both of her brothers. "But when you're a freak, better hide." She continued.

Charles chuckled in disbelief.

"You're being ridiculous." He then stopped Raven on her tracks to speak to her face to face.

"Look, I don't mean to sound like an olt fart."

"Which you are." Raven cuts off.

"Sometimes." Charles corrects.

"Sometimes." [Y/N] chuckled.

"But we've talk about this Raven, small slip up is one thing a big one does not beer thinking about, and that applies to you too [Y/N], to all of us. " Charles argued in a sensible manner that slapped Raven with reason. It's true it did happen a few time where they were almost outted to be mutants, but luckily the 'big slip up' never occured for them.

[Y/N] sighed to the both.

"C'mon let's just go home, call it a night." He said to Charles and Raven who both agreed and the three of them started heading to their apartment.

Later that night. Charles decides to work and study for his upcoming thesis, [Y/N] decides to read a book about sound waves and frequencies while Raven gets ready for bed.

She is currently brushing her teeth wearing a baby pink bathrobe now in her natural blue form.

"Mutant and proud." She disgustingly repeats the quote from earlier.

"Mutant and proud?" She disbelievingly asked again, outloud, perhaps so that her brothers can hear her dilemma. She looked at the living room to see if either of them are even listening, which to no avail.

She stares at her blue and scaly self a little longer. "If only." This time a whisper so that her brothers can't hear her.

She quickly exits the bathroom and faced the both men who are busy with their works.

"Would either of you date me?" She blurts a hot question to the both, catching [Y/N]'s attention looking up from his book to her.

"Raven, you know I don't swing that way." He smirked at her.

She then turns to Charles waiting for his answer.

"Course I would. Any man would be lucky to have you, you're stunning." Charles said not looking at her still busy with his work on the table.

"Looking like this?" Raven asks.

"I- what?" Charles looked up now stopping his work, he hesitatedly answered, "blue?" Which made [Y/N] face slap himself mentally. Raven continued to be discouraged by the answers she got.

"What Charles meant is. You look beautiful that way, Raven." [Y/N] calmy reassures her.

"Your one of my oldest friends." He counters to the difficult question.

"I'm one of your two friends." She said pointing to [Y/N] which stopped reading and smiled to her.

"Thank you for that." Charles replied sarcastically. "Well?" She awaits his answer.

"I'm incapable of thinking of you that way. You're... I feel responsible for you, both of you. Anything else would just feel wrong." He explained grabbing an open book standing up to seat to the other end of the couch [Y/N] is sitting currently.

"But what if you didn't know me?" Raven continues to ask him pressing questions.

"Unfortunately, I do know you. God, I don't know what's gotten into you lately. You're awfully concerned with your looks."

"Do I have a say in this?" [Y/N] he innocently asks the two. Which earned their quiet chuckles.

"I'm sleepy. Will you read to me?" Raven scooted herself on the couch and leaning her head and torso to Charles and both of her legs to [Y/N]'s lap.

"Can't. I have my thesis coming up. I have to study." Charles declined.

"Well, fine. Read that. Your thesis always sends both of us right off." Raven shot at Charles which earned a quiet laugh from [Y/N].

"Yeah, it does." [Y/N] teasingly comments. Charles playfully glares at him but he smiles back. He then cleared his throat lightly preparing to read his thesis out loud.

"Homo neanderthalensis, his mutant cousin, Homo sapien, was an aberration. Peaceful cohabitation, if ever it existed, was short-lived. Records show without exception that the arrival of mutated human species in any region was followed by the immediate extinction of their less evolved kin..." Charles read in the most calming way and his british accent made it more relaxing for Raven and [Y/N], which results them to both drowsed off.
