"Bow your head, the king and the royal family have arrived."

As soon as those words were said, everyone immediately arranged themselves in a neat and orderly formation and kept silent, even Korede who was still suffering from the pain of his broken finger could only keep silent and glare at Adebowale.

Folarin and his family stood near Adebowale's side, the hall was so silent that you could hear the sound of the breeze blowing and everyone in the room looked nervous, soon the sound of several footsteps could be heard coming from outside the door, each step seemed like it resonated with everyone's heartbeat, soon two guards stepped into the hall, Folarin was shocked as he saw this two people, ever since he started training, the cube had shown him all sorts of wonderous ability like shortening the amount of time he needed to get stronger, a perfect eidetic memory as well as boosting his IQ, another one of this ability he discovered was aura, through the aura of people, he could tell exactly how strong they were or even their innate nature, another unique part of this ability was that it was a perfect lie detector, all lies and deceit were useless in front of Folarin through the use of this ability, this ability had been seen when he first met his uncle Seyi and his grandfather Mobo, even his father had his own unique aura but compared to his grandfather's wild aura, his father's aura was more gentle but also dangerous like a beast that was ready to strike if provoked, the reason for Folarin's shock was that the two guards that had stepped in just now were as strong as his father if not stronger, their auras were also filled with blood, this two had definetely killed more than a thousand people throughout their entire lifetime.

As the two entered, an old man followed behind them, on his neck and arms were all sorts of jewelry and on his head was a crown made of gold as well as cowries and some feathers, unlike the western crowns, this one was more like a beautiful cap that was designed with gold, cowries and feathers, he was holding a flywhisk in his hand, the handle of the whisk was adorned with gold and all sorts of beads and was designed in an intricate manner, in the Oyo kingdom, owning a flywhisk was a symbol of one's status, several chiefs as well as generals owned one and each whisk was different, the most important one of this whisks was the one in the old man's hand, it was the king's whisk, the whisk had a similar funtion to the chinese Imperial Jade seal, it can only be used by the king or emperor and anything stamper with the bottom handle of the whisk represents the command of the king and must be executed without fail, only the king can touch it, anyone else would be sentenced to death even if it's a prince, the crown and the whisk can be said to be the two ultimate symbols of kingship in the Oyo empire.

As the old man stepped into the hall, everyone immediately bowed their heads in unison, behind the old man were two men and one woman, both men were handsome and each of them showed a gentle smile on their faces, Folarin looked at them and knew this two must be the princes while the old woman must be the queen, but Folarin's attention was really on one of the prince, compared to the other one who dressed a bit more modestly, this one wore all sorts of lavish jewelry and even though the Oyo people clothes were a bit rough, that didn't stop him from adding all sorts of lavish designs unto his cloth but what Folarin really focused on was his aura, the other prince's aura was gentle and peaceful which showed his nature as a gentle and kind person, Folarin immediately knew this must be the second prince
Adetola that his grandfather had mentioned, looking at him now, he seemed to have the ability to get along with anyone but compared to him the other prince's aura was dark, it was like a haze of red and black surrounding him, Folarin couldn't help but take a deep breath, the amount of bloodthirst and cruelty someone needed to form this kind of aura was not small, this persom was just inherently evil by nature, Folarin frowned as he kept looking at the prince knowing this person was his father's enemy, Prince Abeo.

As Abeo walked by them, there was a smile on his face as he looked at Adebowale but anyone could tell that smile was one of ridicule, he didn't say anything and just passed by them. The old man soon arrived in front of the throne and sat on it, beside the throne were three other chairs made of gold as well and this was where Abeo and the others sat, as the king sat down, he raised the flywhisk in his hand and waved it, everyone immediately raised their heads as a response to his actions, the king smiled as he looked at everyone in the hall and said "It's been a long time since everyone gathered like this, i should be having parties more often if i knew this many people would come." There were chuckles around the hall as he said this, the king looked around for a bit and his eyes paused when it fell upon Adebowale, he opened his mouth and was about to say something when a guard announced
