Surprisingly the next few days were peaceful, the rumors of Folarin and Tokunbo had spread far and wide in the capital thereby humiliating the young chief of the Mosuro village, Folarin was surprised as the Mosuro family didn't do anything, as far as he knew, those kind of families would not accept such disgrace, only they could disgrace others, not others disgracing them.

In truth, the Mosuro family had intended to make Folarin pay for what he did but they stopped their plans when they investigated who Folarin was, son of Adebowale, it was known that Adebowale had lost his position as one of the generals of the empire but people still feared him because of his overwhelming support from the ordinary citizens, if it was discovered that the Mosuro family had taken action against Folarin, the consequences would be dire when the people decide to turn their backs on them.

The discovery of Folarin's identity also confused the Mosuro family, after all, they knew Folarin only had one son and that son was utterly and completely useless, since when had he become so domineering but they stopped thinking about it as they knew two years was more than enough to change someone's character. They didn't take action now didn't mean they had completely given up, instead of taking action directly and losing the support of the people, they decided to wait until the banquet of the Alaffin's birthday where they would disgrace Adebowale and his family.

Adebowale had simply laughed when he heard what his son had done, he even scolded him for not killing the servant right there and then, Folarin was surprised, he thought he was already being unruly but turns out his father was even more unruly, surprisingly his mother also scolded him for not killing that servant, she treated Afolabi like her own daughter and would not tolerate any disrespectful act towards the girl, as punishment from his father, he had to increase the length of his training but Folarin knew this wasn't really a punishment, it was just an excuse for him to train harder but he had no problems with it, after all his strength was increasing by leaps and bounds with the help of the cube.

Several days passed and the birthday of the Alaffin was getting closer and closer, the people gathered in the capital had increased as many village chiefs and other important people had arrived to celebrate the birthday of the Alaffin.

The day before the celebration, Adebowale's household received a visitor, as Adebowale heard that this person had arrived and was looking for him, there was a wry smile on his face, if there was one person Adebowale respected the most in the empire even more than the Alaffin, it would be this person but he also hated meeting him, as Adebowale was still lost in his thoughts, a loud voice could be heard shouting "Where is that brat Debo, are you too big to come greet me now." Adebowale sighed deeply, if it was possible, he really didn't want to meet this person now but he stood up and looked at the nearby Folarin and said "Follow me, we are going to greet your grandfather."

As Adebowale and Folarin came out of the hut, Oyinkansola also came out of her's, with Afolabi and Anu following her, in front of them, a man was standing as he folded his arms like he was waiting for them to come out, Folarin was shocked as he saw this man, all of his hair was completely white and on his face were a lot of wrinkles, this suggested that the man was very advanced in age but despite his age, his body still looked disciplined and trained, he looked like a body builder with his huge mass of muscle, although his belly was somewhat big, it actually complemented his appearance rather than ruin it, he wore a garb that was meant for warriors, even Folarin had to admit the garb made the man look really fierce, wrapped around his shoulder was a lion's skin, as he stood there, he emitted an intense bloodthirsty aura that would make anyone have trouble breathing if they stood next to him, Folarin had no doubt that this old man in front of him had killed a lot of people.

Beside the old man stood another person,he was younger than the old man, most likely in the same age gap as Adebowale, unlike the bloodthirsty aura the old man gave out, this man had an aura that made him look friendly, like you could confide in him and tell him your deepest secrets, but Folarin had a feeling that this person was really dangerous, he felt like he was looking at an extremely old cunning fox that would devour him if he showed any weakness as he stared at the man, he didn't know where the feeling came from, he just had it.
